made a stam warden toon...want to do 2h or dw...which would fit best and why? and also does it make sense to run a dw/2h build? or should it be only bow as the back weapon?

    Pvp —> 2h + bow (or 2h + s&b)

    Pve—> play a stamblade

He is right about PVP. 2h is king but you have the option to deal damage from range with the bow or get into the thick of it and use S&B.

PVE is dual wield and bow. The bow ability endless hail does more damage than any other (stam) ability in the game and you can't leave home without it. Dual wielding gives you two different traits (importantly crit chance from daggers) two different enchantments, more weapon damage and blade cloak for AoE resistance. Which makes 2h much worse in PVE.

Stamwardens are really strong in PVP and okay at PvE.

so what makes stamblades more powerful than stam wardens in pve? and what stamina class would u rank under stamblade? for pve...especially if u solo a lot

If you solo a lot, any class is fine. Warden is really fun to play pve solo questing. So don’t feel bad about that. And you can also enjoy normal and vet dungeons and normal trials no problem.

In terms of veteren group content though, Stam wardens arent as competitive as others. Mainly due to class skills that complicate a rotation. In terms of endgame power, the ranking for stam players is like this:

    Stamblade>stamdk>stamsorc/stamplar>stamden.

Of course skill comes into play, and most groups may want a stamplar with them, but that is the general hierarchy.

But, if you are just starting out and need to build up cp, play the warden. And to be honest the stam warden is really powerful in pvp, which is really all that matters, am I right? Things may change by the time you are ready for endgame group pve content.

Personally, for solo content I enjoyed stamblade and stamplar the most. IMO Stamplar’s Biting jabs is more fun than whirlwind. And using nb’s teleport in solo pve is also a lot of fun.
