I have missed 3 betas because it wouldn't download. Now paying for early access, i can't even get on i'm so freaking pissed right now. I waited nearly 10 hours for it to download, then it said downloading patch and it downloaded the patch like 9 times in a row, and it's back to 'downloading'... it's stuck on a freaking loot cycle. I honestly am ready to demand a refund and leave this damn game behind.

it's not like it's going slow... it's going relatively quick now... it goes to 100% then goes again... then again... then again... this has been since around 6pm last night

Have you tried "Run as Administrator" while patching the Launcher? That will let the Launcher patch and it will eventually stop patching once everything is updated. To do that, close out of the ESO Launcher completely. Right-click on the Launcher icon and there should be an option to "Run as Administrator." Just click on that and it'll open the launcher and it should start to update.0 -

Turn off firewalls and anti-virus software during the download and installation process. Be aware that you do this at your own risk.
If the steps mentioned above do not resolve the issue, please try to install the game in "Windows Safe Mode with Networking."0
