sign up for twitch and get some crates and a mount, nice idea, get some ESO info for the future, so we did.

Did we get the time zone wrong?...

started watching 10 minutes before what we thought would be the time.

saw a dude kill 17.853 zombies

saw 2 nervous dudes sitting in a chair playing cards

saw 171.789 times in chat "ESO"

seeing that crazy amount of people shouting for ESO in chat made us believe we didn't get the time wrong, was it a trick from ZOS to watch the whole bloody thing??
didn't see a second about ESO, guess also no crates....

p.s. It is a European Server, use CET always, not every subject some different time zone because its to hard for ZOS to recalculate the time and we have to do it

It's not that hard: ZOS usually is posting the times in EST, which means you have to add 6 to get the time in CEST. So you were an hour late. However since you actually catched the keynote stream with the Doom Eternal gameplay (the last 10 minutes), you might be able to get the rewards.

A timer would have been super helpful honestly.
I'm in the UTC+2 timezone and the article said 5PM BST, so I know that's 6PM for me.
Checking in advance is always advisable, if you don't want to miss it.
But yeah. Timers are helpful and cost very little effort.

As far as ESO news goes;
- we got a short peek at Murkmire which will be releasing this fall
- we'll get ESO+ updates along with Murkmire (incl. +150 crowns, loyalty rewards, exclusive crown offers)
- we're getting some awesome new stuff in Update 19
- we're super pumped for Wolfhunter
- we're the best community ever
- (no really, Matt said so)

They didn't focus on ESO for that long.

I'm sorry...but are you blaming ZOS here because you're unable to calculate your time from EST?
It takes only 5 seconds to pull up a time zone converter on google.
I'm curious as to how many time zones you expect them to list and calculate for you in their announcements. All of them?

Well the stuff isn't delivered until next week and if you got there 10mins before the end that's probably long enough to qualify for them.

I think at least UTC would be nice since that's the "default" time zone.

or any other time zone you need to know, in google And it will spit out the time in that zone, and then you can compare that time to yours.

As said above if you got there 50 minutes after start, you got there in time.

Seeing ESO in chat was just watching a bunch of tards who thought it would do something. Some people believe they have to talk in chat to get the drop. Some people believe you have to say a certain phrase, and everybody just copies someone else... Before ESO it was Raffle... And yes, I also wrote both. A broken clock is still right twice a day.

Correct, as per the article:

The Ouroboros Crown Crates and Flame Atronach Wolf pet will be delivered to your ESO account by Friday, August 17.

Also of note, I always check the "English (International)" version of the ESO website because any announcements that include a time will show in BST!

Click the flag in the very top left corner to choose between: English (US) English (International) Deutsch Francais

If you use Firefox or Chrome then you might want to check out FoxClocks so that you can easily monitor multiple time zones from your browser!

They actually talked a little about the Werewolf DLC (will be released on Monday 8/13) and highlighted the next DLC focusing on Argonians. The stream was "Quake-Con" so you should expect other games to be premiered also. If I remember right, ESO was after the Quake and Rage 2 announcements. (lasted about 15 mins).

It's not my fault if you can't "timezone' correctly.

I'm in Europe, so I'm in the same time zone as the OP, and I was there at the start of the stream, so...

Yes, when I see people giving out free stuff and other people accepting that free stuff, the first thought that comes to my mind is that they certainly are too entitled to deserve it. Somehow I feel like if they at least expected non free stuff for free, those types of people might somehow feel less entitled. Good Catch Rumple, you really did a good forum moderation with your comment. I certainly hope ZoS at least bans them.
