Controller Support - MAC - Nimbus

So, I recently had Carpal Tunnel Release surgery on my wrist, and as i'm healing and trying to lesson some of the pressure on my wrist I decided to pick up a controller for my MBP for some of the games I play. It occurred to me that perhaps this might be a good solution for while i'm playing ESO and just doing casual farming and daily quests, but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to work. The controller connect fine to the laptop, and when i go into setting in ESO and change to the controller settings I get the changes in the interface but the controller doesn't seem to control anything.

Mid 2014 MBP running 10.13.6

    Hey,

    If I recall well, Nimbus gamepad is not supported on ESO. Yet there's tweak I am using myself to enjoy it.
    I am using ControllerMate Application (http://www.orderedbytes.com/controllermate/). It will allow you to map your mouse/keyboard to the gamepad. The game remains in keyboard/mouse mode but you can still enjoy your gamepad to play.
    If you have difficulties setting it up I could share my confer with you

    Hey @karpok I bought the nimbus too but I have no idea how to use controllermate to configure it. Could you help me? Thanks.

    Once you understood the mechanism it is easy to adapt it to your own needs
