I am not currently home to get on the game to check.

I didn't see any last night when searching in guild traders. How much do they usually go for?

    I think they’re around 300k on PC NA.

    I’ve been selling off traits for around 120k on Xbox NA. But top price for infused does seem to be around 250-300k

    On PC NA, I see bad traits go for as little as 50-60k and infused gold staffs go for 400k+. Unless you have deep pockets, I would buy the cheapest one you can find and trait change it.

    You can also farm it. I do not actively farm, but I do run around deshaan waiting for BG and Cyro Queues to pop once in a while. I have found 3, 2 in simple chests and 1 in a master chest, but none were infused.

    There is an add-on called Tamriel Trade Center or (TTC) for short. It has a website where you can look at the listings of specific items in guild stores. It shows the prices per unit and has filters for traits and quality. Also it is really good for finding the best deal available and saving a ton of gold.

    200k+ golden, but you could easily just buy with an random trait and transmute it

    I have found four or five over the past six months in green level in Simple chests in Deshaan.

    Plenty of simple chests around as the cherry farmers only go for Advanced or Master.
    Presumably these are the same folk that take a blue ruhnstone and leave behind a Kuta and Rakeipa.

    I couldn't sell my last two staffs for 200K on PCEU. They moved quickly at 120K however.

    Anyone selling a gold stick for 400k is doing well. Anyone paying 400k has too much money.

    I got mine (Yes, in infused trait) from just buying a ton of the overland set bags in cyrodiil.

    If you have spare ap I'd suggest going that first.

    As some of you have said, I think I will look for one with a bad trait and transmute and upgrade it.

    I think I also read that there is a quest in Desahaan that rewards you with a mother's sorrow inferno staff, but I am not sure if this is true or not.

    I feel dumb because I had received a bunch in the past, but I never needed them at the time for the builds I had made in the past, so I either sold/researched/deconstructed in the past. Now that I actually need one, I cannot get one to drop lol

    @phileunderx2 I read on Reddit that there was a quest that rewards the inferno staff, so I got excited. It was the quest in Deshaan to help that argonian village and free the prisoners, The Ravaged Village. Upon completing the quest, I find out it was the lightning staff that was rewarded. I was so sad lol

    I'm on PS4 NA. I've seen green quality mothers sorrow infused staffs go for +250k.

    I bought two purple quality staffs with crap traits for 70k each, and I transmuted the traits to infused and saved a ton of gold.

    Too much for the gain. Ask @Masel92 for the details. Basically it’s a minuscule increase over Julianos.

    If you were trying to combine it with a second set that's all on the body though (say Siroria from nCR) your options are expensive either way, MS staves or Julianos jewelry.

    Not sure if campaigns end times are synced across platforms but on NA the Vivec campaign will end in a few days, go get 25k AP and wait. 50 Transmute crystals are easy to get.
