I'm not a pro healer but enjoy it on both sorc & templar. Sorc is more enjoyable for wider use in Cyro / BG I find.
Templar I'm still learning but find I use restro skills / purge / support skills over class ones. Can be hard to see / feel alot of the ground based Templar stuff in sieges etc
Think only issue would be the balance between personal survival & setup to support others is alot harder in PvP to PvE for healers.
Issue with any buffs are we don't want to go back to more unkillable / tanky solo build meta
Do you have any issues? Do you wish something with different? How happy are you with current state of things?

I used to main a Templar healer in PVP mostly as a solo zerg surfer and sometimes I'd run in a group. I tried out Pvp again with Midyear Mayahem and the strengths of the class have been gutted and weakness left weak since I last played it. So I changed from an Argonian Magplar to an Orc MagSorc healer/support and felt way more useful despite being the wrong race for the job.
Breath of Life is the Templar healers signature skill but over time has been whacked by the nerf bat so many times it feels almost useless. At the same time, Templars have had nothing in compensation.

Do you feel engaged in your role as healer in cydrolli, battlegrounds, dueling?

That's a good question. PUG I would say no. In either bg or cyro.
People play as they were, you are just a bonus. Group heals getting AP.
In a cordinated group way way more engaged as the group work with you, can see your gain/value. The buffs, debuggs, movement to help you.
Also new players as healers get marked being low on scoreboards. Making something of healing should be important
Maybe we need a way to denote you are a dedicated healer. An emoji word saying. Or in BG an icon. Would be need to put and everyone know. Sure you can chat but maybe something more.

technical issues are rampant, frankly. i don’t know first-hand what goes on in playtesting, but it appears that it is mostly a time for youtube content creators to get in early and give out free publicity. i’m sure some bugs get fixed, but there are many that are still problems after a long time. i measure time as long because zos has time to continue to put out new content. i’m all for having a calendar and putting new content out on schedule, but the old content is still bugging out, so what is going on in meetings? which is it, they are unable to fix these things or they are unwilling? does cyrodil crash in the pts or not? because it crashes as soon as new content goes live.
why is it that i can cc break a mob’s cc without problem while doing a dolmen but it is sometimes seemingly impossible to cc break in battlegrounds? why do my potions fail to give me immunity? i’m talking about in the first 10 seconds. can i risk a sprint to keep up with my group? if we arrive at a flag and i don’t have full stam, will i be able to do anything after the series of fears, stuns, and roots that i know are coming? these are serious issues for a magplar with only 17k stamina. how much of my trouble is my lack of skill and how much of it is glitchy implementation? surely some of my trouble can be blamed on ps4 and high ping, but surely not all. it is frustrating and it is ongoing. i would like to hear from the devs themselves, what are reasonable expectations? how should things work?
another big technical problem, for me, is understanding how damage and damage mitigation are actually calculated, then figuring out how to make a build that is fun but doesn’t suck lemons in pvp. does spell damage affect shields? does crit damage effect my shields? bleed damage is not effected by my physical resistance? why not? am i bleeding because a nb hit me with iocaine powder? can i buy a facemask in the crown store, or what? these little details are not explained in game, and they can result in players with very poor performance and lots of frustrations.
as for concept issues, this is a great game that is trying to do great things, but they are getting a little lost, imo. if a large part of the player base is casuals, and the devs want to increase the pvp player population, then there are a large number of confusing or just counter intuitive game mechanics that have yet to be resolved. i love that there are multiple classes that can perform the role of healer. that is very open minded of zos. however, there is somehow a real problem with maintaining seperate class identities yet equal ability to perform roles. zos has created a trap for themselves. if everyone cannot do everything, then how can everyone have a chance to do each and every thing that might be done? if everyone can do everything, then how does zos find a way to give every class the same abilities while maintaining the veneer that they are class specific? and afterward, how do they balance everything? right now, it appears that they are a bit upside down, because they try to introduce new and exciting sets while the old game mechanics are still out of alignment.
for example, i like that the game has a [seemingly] well developed lore. so, what in the nine hells is a templar vampire? how did that happen, and did someone inform stendar? zos can’t figure out how to balance healers, and they’ve got nightblade assassin healers and templar vampire healers both running around healing in battlegrounds and cyrodil. is it a surprise to them that there is no easy solution to balance that healing with all forms (meaning many forms that are equally convoluted in their calculations) of incoming damage?
i will say this, not every player has half a dozen or more characters at max level. some players want to play a given playstyle they already like, or do everything on one character. i don’t know who wants to get a character to nearly max level only to find out that his or her preferred role has been given to another class. or, to be faced with decisions that are counter to their world view, like vampirism, in order to compete.
is this a fantasy rpg that has group roles…or…is this an open world where one may do whatever one wishes? i don’t see how it can be both. a large number of dedicated players will use every tool at their disposal, and justifiably so if zos permits it, in order to be successful (i.e. dominant) in pvp. then, zos wants to make tiny changes to tweak gameplay and balance classes. but, class and role have become irreparably entangled, under zos’s supervision, and they want to make changes like “x seconds on a cool-down” to resolve issues to players’ satisfaction. if they will allow so many other ridiculous things, then zos should allow players to change classes. i personally will not change from templar, but i think it is not out of the question that others might choose to make a change.
anyhow, that is my overview of things. take from it freely as you will, with my compliments.
