If you guys could add this to the xbox play anywhere thing that would be great, I find I stream mu gsme quite often to my laptop. Before anyone jumps in and tells me to switch to pc, I am not starting over lol.

I have seen debates about this and still do not see why this could not be a thing unless there are licence agreement issues. Sea of thieves is play anywhere so I do not see why eso couldnt be.

Personally I think it would be reasonable to charge a 20 euro fee for an account transfer or something. Similar to what they did with console launch.

HOWEVER merging all platforms together seems like a really bad idea.

Not sure that is what op is asking but yes I've asked before to be able to transfer over to NA and would happily pay for this

One of the reasons they might not want to do that is, you can have characters on both servers - EU and NA - all outside the crown store acquired features are available as well on the other server, but not those, which were acquired ingame from the crown store. Like you will have ESO+ and the crafting bag on both servers, but each of those bags is separate from the other. Your costumes, houses and other stuff will not be available on the other server, because they were acquired in game.

Edit: this makes a huge difference if one does not have ESO+, because DLCs are aquired ingame, so they are not available on the other server, if there is no ESO+ active. Chapters on the other side are available on both, because they were bought from the web store.
