Seriously, I'd pay for those. I don't have the time to go leveling these days, but I wanna play more of the classes.

EDIT: Edited title for clarity. Crown Store, not RMT

leveled 10 characters to cap and got an 11th that is sitting at 45. would pay to skip the process, I don't really have the time anymore with work it takes such a long time that id rather spend actually enjoying the game.

oh yes it is. go back to a pay to win game. pay to win is anything that gives you an advantage over someone else who couldnt pay for it. and buying a fully maxed character sure as heck fits the bill. so no go play like trove or something. dont poison a perfectly good game.

Not really? Pay to Win is paying for an advantage that couldn't be obtained otherwise.

You can level a character to obtain the same thing you'd be buying.

It's more of a matter of how much your time means to you, and by extent how much you're willing to pay to save it.

    Not really.
Pay to Win is when you buy items or progress that puts you over others that don't pay.
Anyone can be max level without paying anything.
All he's asking for is to reduce the time to reach that stage.
He would still need to grind for gear and skyshards like everyone else.

People cry "p2w" over anything these days, not even knowing what it really means.

I would like to hear good reasons how someone can "win" over someone else by reaching max level faster than someone else who didn't pay. And we don't need to hear "he reached max lvl instantly without any effort", we all know that by now. I'd like to hear a good reason besides that that someone who didn't pay can't do.

personally I just feel that people who cry "p2w" over a lvl boost just cries because they don't want to pay for the convenience to reach end game sooner without the timesink. And honestly, I can understand that.
Not everyone have time to sit hour after hour playing a game, and everyone doesn't have the luxury for a level boost.

I don't quite understand why this would be any more p2w than the xp boosts already in the crown store and gamble crates. And if maxed out characters would only be able to be bought by someone who has maxed out at least one character on their own, it wouldn't give a person any advantage whatsoever. In this game you aren't competitive if you aren't at max level and you don't compete with max level characters before you hit max level. Even in pvp you can just go to the non vet campaign and won't be bothered by max level characters.
The only thing such an option would do is save some time which is not that crucial in ESO. It's not like many p2w games where saved time (usually wait time) equals quicker progress or giving items that are more powerful ones you can get through normal playing.
So would you care to explain why you see it as p2w?

So what would you guys want included in this maxed character?

    I would say:
    Mages' Guild skills
    Fighters' Guild skills
    1-2 Weapon Lines (your choice)
    All class skills
All wayshrines unlocked (for easy travel and quest completion)
All skills in the aforementioned trees ready to morph, but morphs not leveled

Vampire, DLC guilds, Fighters' Guild and Mages' Guild questlines, Skyshards, zone quests, crafting, etc etc all have to be leveled/completed separately still

Basically just the framework for having an endgame-ready character, and you do the rest of the legwork yourself.

Max Level boost should just be the characters level, not skill lines.
Maybe 1 or 2 weapons, 1 armor and preset class skills, depending on what class you picked, to give you something to start with.
But Guild skill lines you still need to unlock and grind like everyone else.
Wayshrines should still be unlocked normally.
You were asking for a Character level boost, not a "full game unlocked" boost.

As for guild skills...by the time those are finished, you could have actually leveled a character fully. And it's definitely pointless not have Mages' guild maxed out if you don't even have the Wayshrines.

This. extras like undaunted/guild lines/wayshrines should still be earned as they aren't essential (as in you can still play decently without them)

for me just a level 50 unlock would be enough (class/race skills, 2 weapon lines, and an armor skill line)

You know, I'd be okay with this. I'm happy to level another character if I don't have to worry about Skyshards, Lorebooks, and achievments.
I dont get it, whats the point of game then there is left? Buy everything, because no time, log in to show off for week, then bored and quit.

Because a lot of people enjoy the endgame like Trials and PvP. If you enjoy the leveling process then don't buy it.

For people that want to be at endgame with a new class, then they buy it and it becomes an amazing boon. For the people that want to level, all it does is take a way and then you don't have to buy it.

    There isn't much downside there.

A character boost should always only be for the characters level, nothing else.

I know that most people using level boosts do it on alts so they quickly can grind up gear for the endgame content purpose of that alt.
But remember, this is in the core an MMORPG.
No one should be able to buy themselves free from the core of the game.

    Play and endure it.

I want my game opening up with 15 characters (my preference at account creation) at 3000 CP, all maxed, all skills maxed, achievements completed, with all gears, costumes and everything... like EVERYTHING. That way I can only play for maybe 10-30 minutes, because I really don't want to play I just want the illusion of playing.

The thing makes our toons valuable to us is the time and effort we spend on them. Does it suck to do it for the 14th time? Yes. Which makes more valuable a completed toon. If they implement a way to avoid having to complete a toon by ourselves, in time we will see nothing will hold any value in players' eyes. Even if you pay for it.

"Playing the game is playing the game".
This is a Roleplaying game. So if you really wanted to play the game, you would go out there and quest and explore the world, like in a Roleplaying game. And along the way you'll unlock wayshrines, you get skyshards and progress your character.
And with the system where everything scales to ones level, you can basicly just ignore your level and enjoy the game for what it is and not rush to endgame.

I can understand that not everyone enjoy everything. No one does.
But there's not a single game that can cater to everyones needs.
Nothing good with a little bad. Yin and Yang, you know.

I'd say you still need to grind everything yourself.
Max Level boost should just be the characters level, not skill lines.
Maybe 1 or 2 weapons, 1 armor and preset class skills, depending on what class you picked, to give you something to start with.
But Guild skill lines you still need to do the quests and grind like everyone else.
Wayshrines should still be unlocked normally.
You were asking for a Character level boost, not a "full game unlocked" boost.

What's the point of gating Wayshrines?

As for guild skills...by the time those are finished, you could have actually leveled a character fully. And it's definitely pointless not have Mages' guild maxed out if you don't even have the Wayshrines.

Because you still have to actually play the game.

Or move on to something else.
There are plenty of games with less time consuming character progress.

Leveling isn't playing the game. Playing the game is playing the game. It's all of it. Just because you skip something you don't like to do something you like, doesn't mean you're not playing the game.

There's more than one way to play an RPG. Not everyone wants to do the boring level grind. Some people just want to get into the min-maxing and endgame aspect of it. I personally see nothing wrong with that.

    Account wide everything first please

For how long? As I said there will be no connection with that char because of zero investment. Why not go and play Overwatch kind of games, because this is what u really want -straight into the action! Why choose to play rpg?

See post above. RPG doesn't mean "grind levels to get where you want"

That's not what an RPG is at all. You can be immersed without grinding exp.

And no, you can be invested in your character without doing quests. If you like the way they look, they're fun to play, and, optionally, you've got a good story for them...then you're plenty invested

Seriously, I'd pay for those. I don't have the time to go leveling these days, but I wanna play more of the classes.

EDIT: Edited title for clarity. Crown Store, not RMT

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BACK TO A P2W GAME!!!!!!!!!!!

    Das not P2W tho

That is the literal definition of pay to win.. "Go to the crown store and buy something that puts me at the end game"

That is raw pay to win in its purest form.

There is no way in Oblivion that ZoS would do something like that, even they aren't that greedy.

Just reaching endgame faster is not winning anything.
There are alot of people at endgame and I never felt like I was losing or they were winning when I first joined almost 1 year ago.
And now I'm equal to all of them. Even people many years older than me.
