Other choices beside wrecking blow on a stam sorc?

It just feels annoying to land one in a speed meta. Has anyone had success with crushing wep dw?

Been having success with bloodthirst, but I use dw front bar. Have yet to try crushing weapon.

Maybe I’m just way too tired and sleep deprived at the moment, but I have no idea what you mean by “crushing” other than the crushing wep glyph or crushing shock destro spammable

Flying Blade/Shrouded Daggers is better than crushing, snare + easier to weave + has a little range with all the 3x swift running around. Rending + Steel Tornado + Dawnbreaker is strong right now even without Master DW. Generally listening to Thogard is good advice.

Thogard is a great person and helped me get to where I am in PvP rn. What can reflect daggers again? Did I know can but is there a reflect immunity of some kind?

sword and board is the new meta for stam sorcs. look at the third passive in the first tree ( i forgot what it was called) but it gives you wild cost reduction. and 0% cool down.

kinda why magsorcs have busted shield spam atm.....

i run ransack and dizzyswing though because pvp too reliant on burst and d swing is perfect.

with hurricane+light attack leaving+poisions and maybe bashing if i have stamina actualy stacks decent damage, i only use it when i know they have a lot of passive healing and and cc immune and want to dps hp. otherwise its near useless in 1vx as a spammable. s/b is for the passives. its important to block cast on stamsorc now. ransack ends up costing like 1k-900 stam i think. and poisons are applied fast and ez and i usually run increased stam cost so itll that much harder to roll dodge and/or break free from dizzy/DBOS.

dizzy swing is by far the best spammable for stam sorc though. it comes with a stun opening up time to light attack (run bound armaments+trollking+orc)

The thing about master DW rend + spin2win is you can get a lot of heavies in between the two and get away with running high dmg low sustain because of it. Throw caltrops on there too for those implosion procs.

Nothing wrong with using a HA as your spammable. Especially dual wield HAs.

Try flying dagger it hits just as hard as surprise attack, also has a small passive execute because of dw passives.

I use a dw/2h stam sorc. Rending, bleeds, and heavies make great sustained damage while waiting for a DBOS + steel tornado burst. And masters DW makes it 10x better. Now where most people run an axe with masters I use 1 mace and 1 sword for the big DBs. The rending bleed and 2h bleed + double dot poisons on back bar do plenty by themselves.

I replaced Dizzy on my 2H bar with Rune Cage from the get go. Even pre-Summerset with the shorter stun and no dmg it's great.

Stops those ranged guys pumping damage into you as you making your way to them.
I've caught flame reach to the face mid-stampede, using RC avoids that.
Gap close and even the quickest break-free leaves them with a couple of dots running.

Works mid-fight too, you're working on that mag sorcs shields, you can feel that combo coming, cage em and put em on the defensive. If you're real lucky they are low stam and stay down for a few seconds and you can load up a whole barrage of dots. I think inc Hurricane I can have like 7 dots running.

Every time I take it off and try Dizzy again, takes 5-10 mins for it to back on the bar.The speed and also Aussie ping really don't help it being effective. I do enjoy that nice *clang* and watching ppl fly, but my hit rate is minor league....
