Does anyone else have keyboard lag with Win 10?

So Windows and all my drivers are up to date, but I noticed a couple of months ago that there was a real lag on how the game parsed my keyboard inputs (playing this on a new Sager laptop, for the record.)
Like, when I hold down shift to sprint, after I release the sprint button I still sprint for a couple of seconds afterwards; if I've been sprinting I also have to wait a couple of seconds to type in chat or else it'll come out in all caps. I've tried adjusting/turning off Sticky Keys; I've also tried adjusting in my keyboard settings the time that my laptop acknowledges repeat keystrokes, but nothing's worked. I used to be able to play the game just fine, but some update - either in Windows or in the ESO code - has changed how keystrokes get parsed, and I haven't been able to play normally since it happened.
Has anyone else experienced this problem, and is there a fix?

Eiagra✭✭✭✭✭Check to make sure no background processes are consuming CPU cycles to a point it's causing input lag. See if temporarily uninstalling (not just disabling) your security software alleviates the issue at all. Try creating a temporary user in Windows and see if the issue persists there also.
