The 5 piece bonus adds 386 spell damage to cold abilities. It works fine with 1 shot skills like pulsar but any cold DOTs are unaffected like gripping shards. This renders the set basically useless. Why wouldn't I just rock a crit set like Mother's Sorrow instead?

Skills like Gripping Shards and Arctic Blast which scales with the Health attribute are not affected by the Ysgramor set. They are still considered Frost Damage Abilities yes?0 -

✭Abilities that scale off of max health are not buffed by weapon/spell damage increasing modifiers, even if their damage type would be increased. At least I think that's right..."Best" healer PC/NA1
