I cannot get a new wireless Xbox One S Controller to work.
I just bought a Wireless XBox One S Controller, under the belief that this was supported. However, I can't get the ABXY or D pad buttons (other than the top tone o work). Joysticks work, as do triggers. I'm referring to this as proof that it should work:

Please note, the controller purchased was this one:

I am on El Capitan, MacBook Pro mid 2015. Bluetooth connects fine, and, as I say, partial recognition of the controller (movement, looking, heavy/light attacks, blocks, interrupts).
However, its like it doesn't understand the encoding of the ABXY (and South,East,West of D pad -- actually Y button acts as the North button on D pad) They cannot be assign on the controls page, they just dont show up when you press them to bind).
HELP! I want to know whether it should work (if so, I will keep it and figure out whats wrong), or whether its not supported in which case I will return it to AMazon.
