As DK healer/support should I cast igneous shield?

Does my weak shield over rght the tank"s shield? I'm building a dk healer but if I overright the tanks shield thats a deal breaker.

Chibs✭✭✭✭As a DK Healer you mainly use it for Major Mending, which is a great buff. I personally find I don’t need it much at all, and it is very tedious to cast it often. I mainly use it in those moments where you need a powerful heal or you know a heavy hit is coming on you or an ally. I don’t believe it overrides the tanks shield though I could be wrong.Edited by Chibs on August 5, 2018 1:36AM0 -

✭It does over write the tank's shield and leave them with a much weaker shield which is the main reason DK heal does not go well with DK tank.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭The issue does exist still unfortunately, but as a dk healer you can spam it more, get major mending. Just wary of being close to tank so you don't override it.
