I don’t like predictable rotations which is why I don’t play dps roles. I like to react to the situation.
Sure as a tank I have to reapply taunts, buffs and debuffs but after that it’s all open to the flavor of the class I’m tanking in.
So for me, what makes one class greater over another is variety.
I got very bored with Dragonknight and Sorcerer because it was too repetitive.
Templar is great over all classes because it’s the easiest to learn, and heals are always appreciated. All of his healing skills are great and I wish they never took away major mending. Giving it to others is fine (heavy attack with resto staff), but templars should have kept it in their class kit. The class defining skill is Breath of Life.
Nightblade is great over all classes because they have a very “narrative” style of gameplay in pve. Like the game “Thief”. There is a beginning where you set up your attack by sneaking, a middle where you dodge and siphon and an end where you use an execute. The class defining skill is Cloak.
Warden is great over all classes because I loved being a hunter in wow and this the closest I’ll get in a better game lol. But really a defensive nature based class is what my Templar would have been if Wardens existed 2 years ago. I can send in the bear as my tank. The only thing missing is a way to directly heal the bear, as it is he gets last priority if an AOE heal is down. The ice magic is the most useful part of the Warden and it seems out of place and out of theme. They should have gone with encasing vines instead of gripping shards or something. The class defining skills are the animal companion skills. To that end they need to make the bear better because it is on both bars and takes up the ultimate slot.

favorite:mag nb:
assassin will proc and the speed.Hard to describe but nb combat feels really fast and every skill gives you a movement speed
(Even nb got some nerfs -rip snap tanks- that made the less fun to play it is still the "fastest" class to play)
main(aka my first char): mag sorc
dunno rip frags i guess. The class lost so much of it's fast combat and flavor. In pve it is a pain to sustain and in pvp it seems to be getting forced more and more in one single playstyle. The class defining skill is now probably the run away skill streak.

Ice Furnace: This item set now grants Spell Damage, rather than Weapon Damage for the 4 piece bonus
