Every single day, anytime I port to a location that's got even a small amount of PVP, I lose connection to the server soon as I get there.

✭✭✭✭This isn't related to porting specifically it's the same problem as the disconnect running to a keep with a lot of players.
If you run too quickly and load too many players at once your game will likely crash. Porting almost guarantees the crash because you will load everything at once
One way to try and avoid the crash is by only going to the outskirts of the keep (far enough away before you.starr rendering players there)
Then walk slowly towards it stopping whenever your latency begins to spike (latency increases the more players you try and load at once) when the latency drops back down to its previous value (roughly) it's generally safe to continue again.
