Does War maiden apply to all magik damage abilities??

Even fire/lightning/ice, if so why is it not more popular?

    oh ok cause Orc passive and Automaton say they affect physical, but they also apply to disease and poison damage so I thought that would be the same

    Basically War Maiden is only any good for a Vamp Magicka Templar DD. All the 4 or so of them who are still active across all servers.

    Orc passive affect melee damage, not physical.
    Automaton set affect physical damage, not poison or disease.
    Everything is viable

    Or warden, who has a magic damage skill line...or nightblade that has a magic damage skill line....

    It’s great for magblades. They don’t have any elemental damage. Pretty much all magick damage.

    if the tooltip says "deals magic damage" then it does effect it, if it does not say that, then it does not effect it, a good example is force pulse, it does a initial damage of fire/frost/shock, which is unaffected but it also does a AOE magic damage affect, which unless its bugged, should be affected by it.

    What sets are better to run on magblade than War Maiden?Also, do all NB skills that cost magicka = a magicka skill? For example, is Concealed Weapon a magicka skill as per the War Maiden description?

    God - I don't think I could have made that sound more confusing if I tried. I hope people understand what I mean? LOL.

    The answer is no. You need to look at the tooltip. It says "deals X amount of magic damage". If you see that, war maiden affects it. If it says for example fire or disease damage, it doesn't affect it.

    There are different types of damage in this game. Fire, lightning, ice, magic, poison, disease, physical, and oblivion. Any skill that specifically says "deals X Magic damage" will be buffed by this set. If it deals any other type of damage it will not be affected by the set.

    I think they meant there's a lot of destro skill use which is elemental eg fire for single targets

    The top-ranked PvPer on PCNA wears War Maiden. It buffs light attacks well amongst others.

    Yellow War maidens+ groth+Juls is awesome for Magplar Beamplar+dunmer race.
