Yeah good job I only crashed 15-20 times in 4h Ata certain point the whole group was unable to log in so we called it a day #sarcasmalert
Not to mention 2 health desyncs where I suddenly had no resources (mind you I have 36k resistances and 33k HP so I don't get insta killed from full HP period) fml :-(

You small scale with far too many solo players in the same spot, that's your problem. ;-)

It's been a while since I last played PvP, mainly due to lag and performance problems, infintie loadscreens... you know the drill.

So yesterday I decided to give it a go to get the event achievements, and I was skeptical...

But I was able to play at a steady 60 fps most of the time, with no noticeable lag, no disconnects, no 10-minute loadscreens... everything worked! in a population-locked campaign and even zerg vs zerg long battles!

I've never had such a smooth experience in PvP in ESO.

So, to whoever is resposible for that: great work!

I just thought it'd be nice for once to make an appreciation thread instead of the (too usual) complaints.

How long have you worked at z0$? Would also like to know your position.

    lol

I'm on PC EU, maybe I should have mentioned that.

And I play on a suboptimal and unsupported system: Manjaro Linux + wine + DXVK on RADV with a Vega.

Makes me fairly excited to hear about linux players having good experiences with this game. I played this game on linux back before they discarded the windows OpenGL client and became so addicted that when it went to DX11 only I performed the taboo of installing Windows to play it.

Just imagine how well this game will perform in wine if (when?) they switch the game to a Vulkan renderer. It's nice to dream big.

Miss playing this game but with a 56 hour work week and studying in my spare time to prep for a return to college I don't dare pick it back up just yet.

When i watch streamers play a zerg v zerg its so smooth. And thats the thing they play on PC.
But i dont think consoles players are gettinga smooth experience. My experience is that everything gets laggy also becomes 10 frames per second when a zerg is taking a keep nearby. AND IM NOT EVEN BY THE ZERG! Just somewhere near by

i have not had a single disconnect, no lag. but i did notice something
i played AD for 8hrs, not a single load screen
logged into my EP toon, 5 load screens in 5minutes, as close as 2 steps apart. literally. load screen stops you moving. hit move and take 2 steps and get another load screen. but never 1 on my AD toon

From where I live to where the EU server is located, you get to go through 5 different countries in a 1500 km trip.
