Hey, i had to go out of town and i wonder if they responded yet on if the fire animations was a bug not showing all the time or not? Cant find the other thread. Thank you
Is this in reference to people wanting the flames to be active when your weapon is sheathed? I seem to see a lot of people talk about this and how they were under the impression the flame animation would be constant, even when sheathed.
I actually really like that the flame animation is not active when the weapons are sheathed, especially with the amount of light the flames give off. I also already assumed the flames would not be active when sheathed, that just seemed like common sense to me (not knocking other's, just what I thought).
I can understand on a staff, wanting the flames to be constant when sheathed, that bit would look cool, but not for the other weapons, in my opinion.
I really like how the fire activated when you take out your weapons and go away when you sheathe them.

"Fimmion hungry. Want sweetroll. Fimmion like pants. Love sweetroll."
I want the flame animations to be constant on the staff, even when the staff is on your back when you're riding your mount. The reason I haven't bought this set is because it's not.
The way I see it, the Ilambris copy from the showcase was written using notes from earlier in the year when the Monster event schedule was being prepared.
In the meantime, the Skyforge Hammer from the crafting achievement was updated, which chronologically made that the first weapon outfit style with persistent particle effects. But as it's a challenging achievement, not many people were able to preview how that worked.
So assumption took the driver's seat and now people are outraged that their assumption was wrong. I do agree the showcase could have been more descriptive with how particle effects work, but as the Skyforge style update is just a tiny piece of the game and probably didn't have nearly as much internal discussion as the Monster events, I can excuse the showcase for overlooking it. As such, it can just be mentally modified to read as, "These weapon styles are the first in the Crown Store to have persistent particle effects".
Just look at this Argonian with his persistent flame staff and my "Monster" staff does not have flame animation. Come on ZOS, I want this persistent flame too.
