I'm not sure what problem this is meant to solve. We can check known styles in the Lore Library in a few seconds with Eidetic memory, and known traits can be checked at a crafting table in a few seconds (for those who still need to check). This seems to be a lot of front-loaded work to fill out a spreadsheet that might save a few seconds (even that is questionable). How do you imagine this being used?

Well, there is a mod for this (tracks your knowledge, no need to fill out forms), I think it's even multi-character aware *and* has all the craftable items listed as well.

Of course, not everyone has access to addons/mods. So, while us console folks can check our motif knowledge in the lore library and our trait knowledge at a station (and we now also have icons on gear that appear if we don't know the trait), we can't easily check knowledge across multiple characters without either using a spreadsheet or logging in on each character.
