Right after Morrowind, my main character joined ranks of undead for the regain and undead passive is super nice on tanks/healers.

All my PvP chars are Vamp, the passives are just to good for a sneaky soloer.

    The look
I'd like to see a reduction in the amount of increased damage from other players. At this point being a vampire is more of a detriment than a benefit. It's cetainly not OP enough to warrant taking as much extra damage as it does.

They should make a PvP pitting vampires against non-vampires. To balance it non-vampires get a "Vampire Hunter" skill line, in exchange vampires get the disguise they want so badly.

I picked the 'too ugly' but it's a bit different than that. I'm Khajiit, and as it is, I don't use body markings because they remove my fur pattern. (For instance: why the heck does a tattoo remove fur patterns? I put on a tattoo and suddenly I'm not Siamese anymore? I don't get it.) So, I would really, really like the passives, but I made my character the way I want her to look, and while I'd be fine with minor modifications, something that drastic (and not visually an improvement)...nah. I'll pass.

    Surely you mean FUR instance!

Also like to note how many people want a hide vampirism disguise here as they choose to be a vampire due to the gameplay advantages it brings

    It's time

I'm actually the exact opposite of most: I play as a vampire because I think they look cool. But to be honest, I see no good reason not to allow players to hide their vampirism if they want to. Seems like a harmless way to make the game more enjoyable for them to me.

As far as gameplay: the passives are alright - though when you consider the added fire damage you take I believe at best it's a wash. That added fire damage can suck.

Well, year or maybe more ago, Vamps was pretty good, because of passives.

But now I feel it's more punishing to be a vampire: 90% of new dungeons and trials has freakin ton of fire damage around and having fire staff is a PVP meta atm

Already dropped vamp at mag Sorc and I didn't feel, like I lost something really useful. Think, need to drop at mag NB too

They need to decrease fire damage penalty in 2 times. Until that, well, Vamp is not as good, as it was before...

As a tank stage 3 vampirism is just too good due to magicka regen and undeath passives. As dps some are vamp for the regen passives alone. But it’s ugly and means I can’t get the best out of my tattoos look, the pluses outweigh the negative.

Well, as a tank, you don't need it at all.
My tank has capped resists when shield is up, I can survive any crap around, bosses oneshot hits etc. But getting extra fire damage and need to avoid most fire AOEs makes me upset

Err I’m confused, it’s not that I need it but I see that it gives me better recovery and makes me harder to kill. As avoiding fire aoes etc, they really shouldn’t be a problem for any tank. And I’m curious why would your sheild being up help you hit resist cap?
