I will admit that the remove someone's cc immunity is a real thing, sloads I honestly don't have too much problems with. I will admit rune is annoying or any sort of pin or make you fall on your butt. I have lost track of how many times someone feared me and they saved my character's life by fearing me lol. I should be thanking them for fearing me
Also yeah lag can be annoying. Infinite stuns imo are some of the worst.

Sorcs in Bg are a scandal.

    I know I have one.

    My main is a DK.

When I switch to my sorc I feel like am using cheat engine.

Usually it's one group completely dominating the other two. If I don't end up in that group, I usually abandon since I'm not OP enough to matter, and I only do those for the daily rewards. They need better ways to balance the fights, otherwise it's just ridiculous.

You understand how match making is working, right? If you go for a first time into BG with you magsorc it get matched with other ppl who also only starting with BG. Its not a problem facerolling thru opponents that are new to PvP, or BGs

    Also other thing

The premade isn’t really meta unless one of the Stam premades spams dizzy swing, runs to healer after running apart from his group, then talks *** afterwards because you wear Sloads.

    True story.

I enjoy BGs, I rarely see half the problems mentioned; and the other half is just the nature of PvP right now in terms of sloads/rune cage/fear.

I will say that it is annoying when you are disconnected and given a penalty due to something outside of your control; but I understand the reasoning behind it.

Sloads can be difficult to play around, but if you're playing with a templar, or groupmate that can afford to slot purge, then the set bonus can be relatively easy to deal with. Although I have been in games where the two other teams are all wearing sloads and that can get really annoying really fast.

I mainly play as DK and Templar in BGs, they have their own strengths and weakness, but I have found in a 1v1 situation or 1v2 situation against a NB or Sorc if you survive their initial burst or are maddeningly difficult to kill, they will move on to an easier target.

I particular enjoy playing BGs with my Templar Tank, he's a great support player; I can help purge, I can stun (although focused charge is finnicky and Wings always give me a good laugh with javelin) as well as give shards for my groupmates.

I think BGs are fun; they also provide players, like me, who don't particularly like to do AvA/IC PvP another source to earn AP and unlock some of the skills within the Assault/Support skill lines.

I never played BGs until the event but it's actually pretty fun. I took my PvE StamBlade, crafted Sload's, slapped on some old Viper Sting gear, and have been consistently scoring around 3k per match. Just watching people spam Vigor while they're health keeps falling is quite entertaining.

I suppose it wouldn't be easy to tell if a premade team was made of inexperienced players, but then again I don't particularly cared getting matched-up against them when I solo que.

You won’t encounter as many pre-mades in characters with lower MMR. I know it sucks, but play a new character.

@ecru on Xbox NA there are two notorious sub-50 groups that run full pre-makes and always have a dedicated healer. If you’re leveling a character through BGs you’ll start to encounter those groups after 5-10 levels if you play well, it’s really sad

Im asking because i was called on being in pre-made groups so many times when I queue solo, especially on mag templar. Fact that group is keeping together, or concentrate on biggest threat, or that there is templar with purge/BoL in group, doesnt mean they are premade, it just mean they know what they are doing. So no, from my experience, and from salty whispers i recived after matches, it isnt that obvious.

What's the point of that? You have to re-level each char, get some skill points, get decent passives only to delete it after 'insert some days here'? Seems like a total waste of time to me.

for the sub50 topic, it's called twinking. You have it in every MMO. People to bad too PvP on their own level, so they make new characters. Giving said characters the absolute best gear possible and then you go and kill new players. Why people do this I dont know, but I do know a few.

This one person used to run around with a level 30 vma weapon and full gold gear ever 10 level. And he would remake character time over and over again. What a idiot. . .

So for BG meta: Go NB or go home! noone can kill you while sneak!

My PvE build NB has been fairing fine in BGs with Hunding’s and TFS. Haven’t hit much lag, coordinated well enough when people gave directions, honestly not that much Sloads around.

Worst things I’ve encountered was a players who would only crouch in place and Snipe at people while we duked it out in the middle of a deathmatch

Its aids. The top way to win is 2 heal tanks. Either both temp or 1 temp 1 warden root heal. Stacked with sloads and oblivion, monster being skoria or pirate. 2 DDs. Either 2 sorc or 1 sorc one bleedblade. Both run sloads.

Healer: Templar: Tape down block/BoL and the odd eclipse and purge. Warden: Tape down block and shrooms, then the odd pollen/root and keep up shimmering
Be sure to *** out as many healing ults as needed.

DDs: Sorc: Rune, fury and procc'd frag. NB: Rending, SA

Move as if centipeding each other and watch the AP roll in as you defile, snare CC and root lock, bleed sload and delete a random group of 3 with 2 low CPs whilst your 2 healers keep you functionally immortal

Well yeah. Lately I’ve been leveling my new characters through BGs when I get bored of grinding and I see them there all the time on different characters.

I think the point is that they’re not good enough to compete against other BG groups but they want to play with friends and feel good about themselves.

Edit: still lame AF and they should spend that extra time improving.
