the problem with pvp in this game is the fact that it exists.
give MY POEPLE a pve cyrodiil and imperial city, or at least let us be able to be passive like gta5 online.
the sweaty tryhards hate this idea because when all of us carebears suddenly are not in the “real” cyrodiil, they will be facing an actual opponent who has a chance to kill them.

Was supposed to be, the focus is now pve
ZOS gives me the impression that they believe the end days are around the corner. Theyre just getting all the financial stuff in order while they wait for the reaper to come (CU)
Maybe now the PVE players will finally see why those of us who mainly PVP have been complaining for years!

At first I agreed then changed it to insightful. All these DLC’s and Chapters are like gap stop measures holding off the inevitable. When new games come out, who’s gonna keep playing this.
I like ESO. I like PvP. Midyear Mayhem is BEYOND disappointing. I spend half my time trying not to throw my controller against the wall. I spend the other half asking myself why I’m still playing this.
It makes me not want to play.
We all would but apparently the business model Zos uses is that they want more new players to join and do not care if the original players leave.Thestephenmcraeub17_ESO wrote: »I'm convinced that the root of the problem is their entire business model of releasing a new chapter and 3 DLCs a year. Obviously, it's too much of a workload for the development team, however big it may be. When the focus is on churning out new content, then fixes and improvements have to take a back seat. I don't think it's the developer's faults, either. I think it's the higher ups that want to sell more boxes and engage more new players that are making the bad calls. Honestly, I'd be much happier with this game if we got 1 DLC/chapter whatever per year, or maybe even every other year, but with gameplay and bug fixes regularly implemented throughout the year, along with combat balance issues (sloads went unaddressed for 4 months since it first appeared in the PTS).

Bolded is true. Original players do not spend nearly the amount of money that new players do. Vet players usually already have bought everything they want, new players still need/want a lot of things... so new players are a constant source of revenue, vet players are not. It isn't ESO+ subs that keep this game going, it's purchases in the Crown Store... and it seems to me most of the players complaining about 'never buying anything from the Crown Store' tend to be vet players. So yes I agree with you, they do not care if original players leave.

My god, all of you doomsayers.....GIVE IT UP ALREADY!! Its been 4 years and the game is stronger than it ever has been. Its not going anywhere, and the fact that they can drop content regularly every quarter is an indicator they are doing very well profit wise. Companies dont drop content when they arent making money hand over fist. Maybe educate yourselves before spewing this stupidity all the time.
Seriously the rest of the community looks at you the same way society looks at the people that constantly talk about the illuminati and lizard people.
