    I understood the title as:
    "Each skill should have a score based on the effects/damage/range/duration/radius and all the skills should have the same score"

    I'm disappointed. No, your idea isn't great.

    Ok so you mean that cloak, bolt escape, deep fissure, ritual, reflective scales, vigor etc. Need to be nerfed by like 40% because 90% of players runs those skills? Sorry but don't count on me.

    a 865% nerf sound fine, then both choice will be interesting if you plan to annoy people near guild merchants cause it would be the only use for this pet.
    Then all would use the tormentor as main dps source, you nerf one and you buff the other.
    And that would be way more annoying as its far more dd than healers
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    I do not like it.
    Mass adoption of skill/class that sucks the least is not remotely the same as a skill/class being OP.

    How about mathematically looking at the actual damage the skills/classes/sets produce and comparing that way, vs what happens to FOTM for one reason or another?

    (And you do realize that the playerbase could effectively sway the balance of the game in a coordinated effort with your suggestion?)

    I do not like it.
    Your idea would work if everyone theory crafted. The problem is like 10% theory craft, ever one else just runs what they see/hear is best.
    Also 10% changes are just way to big. That's actually one of the parts of the problem. ZoS doesn't adjust skills by 1% they make big adjustments. Right now Radiant is getting a 80% buff. In Homestead it got nerfed by 21%. How was it so OP it needed a nerf then, but now its so crap it needs not only the 21% back but another another 59%

    (Not sure if there where other nerfs in between Homestead and now)

    Actually the current creep of Arctic Blast is much better even if slow.

    I hold the same opinion as everyone else here, so I'm not going to parrot the same opinion that's been posted a dozen or so times.

    Just want to ask, though, how will your approach to balancing work with skills where the "problem" isn't to do with numbers, but just the way the skill works? Take Rune Cage for instance, where the problem with it is the fact that it is such a delayed stun (the stun is delayed by a single GCD -- about a second, this is fixed and so you cannot change it -- and there seems to be a bug where breaking out of the stun is delayed a bit). This delayed stun allows Rune Cage to synergise very well with Sorcerer's kit of delayed burst, way too well. How will your approach to balancing, your rule, attempt to fix this very obviously broken skill?
