Ghost / Spectral Style Skills?

I am not picky on the Magicka or Stamina or armor types, but, for a RP perspective are there a few spectral style skills in ESO for me to try out? I have always been a fan of undead style, but not in the form of Zombies and Werewolves, I also was more interested in the Ghost / Wraith style. Lets just say that when Shadow of Mordor came out (and now Shadow of War) it was like a game made just special for me lol! My favored class style is usually the ranger, quick, agile, precision, etc. To add to the mix, SoW gave me this ranger theme with Wraith (Spectral) powers as well. A match made in heaven for me it would seem oh yes! lol

I do know of the Soul Assault skill line, and in the skill tree there is an epic looking beam that makes me feel like enough of it can be played off a Soul / Ghost magic. I like that, it is cool looking and I only ever PvE so there is no PvP issues present for dodge / interrupts. Are there any other skills that are ghostly from Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Summerset, Morrowind? Etc? I have a max level NightBlade, the NB skills are not quite what I am looking for though, and it is a fine class but just not really feeling the Wraith / Ghost theme to much with it. More like a Necromancer to me that spectral style.

If you know any skills that wold do well with my desire to have ghostly vibes like Inner Light and Soul Assault please let me know!

Undaunted has a few 'ghostly' skills namely necrotic orb. Otherwise can't think of much else.

I do have a ghosty-type build that's purely aesthetic and purely for harvesting and roaming the overworld. I'll see if I can post it in a moment.

So this is my attempt to recreate a wisp-type creature in ESO.

Magsorc and Magplar tend to fit the theme the most, being the dark and light sides of the spectrum respectively.

I use five pieces of Imperial Physique with 10k TV stones equipped to gain the black/blue tendrils on the actor, as well as the Worm set for the glowing blue orbs. You can equip Kollopi Essence to render yourself almost fully transparent, which reveals a glowing blue orb/aura centered over your chest from the Imperial Physique set.

Restoration Staves are a must for the siphoning aspect. Shock and Frost enchantments to render your victims to ash and dust.

I would also use Mighty Chudan for the recurring, ghostly aura, but I don't currently have the weapons needed to fit into the build.

On top of this, I use skills such as Necrotic Orb:

to both simulate this soul-type magic, as well as to engage with the newbies I'll be running across in the overworld through the synergies. Who doesn't like making big explosions?

    Hardened Ward

I also use the psijic skill line liberally for the floating golden orbs to offset the blue, including elemental weapon and symbiosis to heal other players and fit the aesthetic theme. The build itself is obviously non-functional outside of very basic combat and group activities, but thematically it works. I run it with low health, high magicka and magicka regen, with powerful wards to fit the weak nature of a disembodied soul, and I can only heal myself through either siphoning health off of enemy targets (power surge), or siphoning health off of friendly targets (symbiosis). My only other option to heal would be to completely shut down and recuperate through meditate, again fitting the theme.

Soul trap and Shatter Soul are also a must, and this makes a pretty effective soul harvesting build for both the Justice System, and general overworld mob farming.

That being said, Shatter Soul's final explosion does not currently proc on Justice System NPCs, @ZOS_GinaBruno ! This is a big letdown!

I'd like to see someone do this on a templar, honestly. It's quite a blast when you're just burnt on PVP and PVE dailies for the day.

Wow, thank you kindly for the incredible help! Did you try Inner Light to give your hands the ghostly white glow? That might pair up a little extra for the Wisp theme. You have most certainly helped me lock down some prime skills for the theme I want. Thank you very much for your hep and time my friend!

Mass hysteria, as the spectral ghosts in game also have a fear skill, though their animation looks much cooler!

I hope we get a class like that but, I fear how long it will take them to create it. I mean, they took so long to release Warden and it was actually part of the base game. They removed to it slap it to a DLC / Expansions. Now, if you wanna play Warden you gotta pay for it lol.

That said, I would pay for a Necro class or even skills along that theme. To think of it, I would even pay to make me Magicka characters use weapons that are non staff lol.

I’m pretty sure Warden was tied to Morrowind and if you didn’t’t have Morrowind you couldn’t create a Warden but they’ve separated it from the Chapter so now Warden can be purchased without having to get Morrowind.

A ghost/wraith class sounds like a good idea, would be nice if there were a few tanks skills in there, maybe an aoe taunt or a skill that makes you transparent and unable to take damage for so many seconds but to balance it out a little, you’re either greatly slowed or stuck on that spot for the duration, probably best as an Ultimate so it doesn’t get spammed repeatedly especially for pvp
