Yeah, no. My PVP guild is based in Vivec, and AD is five days away from winning the campaign. I’m not going to move over to a new campaign until the current campaign is over. I really wish that campaigns could be locked in some way during the event (e.g., if you have not logged into Vivec at all during the current campaign, you can’t log into Vivec until the campaign is over). Why should I have my usual PVP experience ruined because people who have never PVPed before decided to hop onto the most populated campaign to buy “PVP carries”?
Yes, there are actually people in /zone looking for “PVP carries.”
Hate to *** on your parade, but they have as much right being there as you do. Maybe pay their sub fees, internet provider bills etc and maybe then people will entertain your inane notion that you're somehow more deserving than the next person.
Sorry, but this is a 30 day campaign we’re talking about. You don’t see how it could be incredibly frustrating to those of us who PVP in Vivec regularly if the outcome of the campaign is swayed in the last five days by people who don’t care AT ALL about PVP, who are just there for the cosmetic reward and title? When regular PVPers are shut out of Cyrodiil at the end of a major campaign for HOURS at a time, waiting for someone who doesn’t even know where to buy siege equipment to lose interest after they die a few times in their meta PVE build, then there’s a problem.
Current campaigns should have ended before the event started. Alternatively, people who don’t PVP regularly and are only going to Cyrodiil for the event should be queuing into the new campaigns set up specifically for this event. Why screw up the last few days of a PVP campaign you’re not even invested in, just so you can get your cosmetic reward and never return again? We only get ONE major PVP event per year, and it stinks that we can’t even enjoy it.
