Storm master set on stamblade?

Just got the storm master set from tempest island and replaced advancing yokeda and wear it with relequen, so storm master, relequen and Selena’s with lover. And my crit sits at 64 percent. Storm master perk 2 gives crit, perk 3 gives crit, perk 4 gives Wep dmg, and perk 5 whenever I heavy attack my light attacks have an extra 2k shock dmg added to them and it carries over bars and I can increase the dmg with a few points in ele expert blue CP. With this combo I was only a few K behind Advancing yokeda / relequen and the jewelry isn’t bloodthirsty and infused and the weapons aren’t trained right..so I’m trying to decide if it would be worth it..and suggestions if you’ve actually tried the set or atleast know about it?

Btw I’m cp 400 redfaurd SB and do around 35k on a 3 mill dummy. Was able to do close to 31 with the storm master and relequen on. And I light attack weave with everything.

IMO Storm Master favors stamina sorcerer a bit more, since you can proc implosion both from the physical LA and the added Lightning damage, much like Storm Fist.

For NB Adv Yokeda seems better especially since you have extra critical damage.

Did you read the part where I said when I replaced AY with storm master I was only a few k dps behind and that was without gold weapons and retracted jewelry. From my experience Golding out and bloodthirsty trait has greatly increased dps. But yeah it prob is better for specs.

My guess is it will end up being around the same dps but hey spend the gold and try it man you’ll never know unless you do and you might possibly start a new meta (:

You shouldn't need to heavy attack on a stamblade so it just doesn't synergize well with stamblade considering you need to heavy attack to proc it.

It's actually decent on a stamsorc. As pointed out above, it synergises with implosion and gives you quite some dps. Factoring in cps etc it can yield around 2k dps from the front bar only, since it is similar to the maelstrom weapon buff.

The main issue is that it doesn't crit, since it is a separate proc.

storm master buff uses to stack.
if you get lucky with the procs, you can light attack as hard as Overload.

now it's nerfed and is medicore.

As a stamblade I heavy attack every now and then for Stamina regain and one heavy attack it last on both bars for 22 seconds. Seems like a decent trade off for me. Seeing as how I heavy attack atleast once every other rotation. I’m a redgaurd as well and have pretty good set ups so sustain isn’t to much of an issues.
