Can we expect larger homes in the future?

I recently went on the PTS to check out the new psijic Home and oh man it’s huge. Obviously way to big for the current item limits. I’d have to say that it’ll probably be the overall largest home in the game. So my question is whether you guys would expect anything even bigger than this house in the future or if you would even like something unrealistically larger...ideally with no item limits. Personally I think the house is way too big and they need to cut down on the size of crown store homes. What’s the housing size for your dream ESO home?

Personally I prefer the large homes, those around ~1M price tag since you can fill them better with items. Mansions and unusual homes such as caves that are in the same class don't appeal to me since the item count is only about 17% higher than the former but the space is often several times larger, making them look empty even when fully furnished. However some of the latter are ideally suited to the function of guild halls, especially the ones with large, flat, open spaces where you can put a multitude of crafting stations. I don't think that ZoS will increase the item count in homes any time soon since they've stated this would lead to performance issues.

I suppose if the latest monstrosity sells well when it's released, despite the small item limit, then yeah...I can see more coming.

But, I would really like to see more small/medium homes, ffs. Tel Galen was a notable home, but cost 8k/10k and so really is a large home, but has a 700 item count (w/ESO+). I realize that a small or medium-size exclusive home might not appeal to everyone, but if it was really unique, then I think they'd sell. I'd be more willing to buy a CS exclusive home if it weren't a giant monstrosity. They could make just a houseboat, you know, what most people wanted but instead got a giant ruin attached to it. Or, they could create a nice, cozy Nord home in a snowy area and sell around the winter holidays. Or a tree house or a lighthouse. Those are cool homes that people don't expect or need to be giant monstrosities.

Give us some more options, please!

    That "big" houses are useless.
There is a very little community that toouching_themselves on housing, but for a vast majority this is just a place where target dummy can be placed.

I dunno who are housing designer in ZOS, but obviously he doing his job pretty bad.
    Why? I'll explain:
    1. Houses from one price division are different. Some are really bigger, while other ones - just a BS from previous price category. All houses of the same price must be ~equal on space, indoor and outdoor both!
    2. Why I can't do anything at my house? Craft, repair, place stuff on AH. If I can't do all stuff in the same place, then I wouldn't do part of that stuff there too. Sure I have all crafting stations in my house, but do I use them? Maybe if I need to craft another furnishing item, means VERY rare.
    3. Riding. Why I can't riding there? Some houses are really huge! What do they think, someone would be happy to do all that way on his feet several times per day? Lol, no
    4. Storage. They added house storage only not so far and they are expensive af. If I can't store stuff in my house - why I even need it?
    5. Loading time. For me, loading to the any house (my own furnished, my unfurnished, others, even from Crown shop to preview) takes very long - 2-3 times longer then loading to the corresponding zone! 1 tiny house vs whole zone and 2 times longer, Karl! And this loading time doesn't affected by house size and number of placed stuff there.
    6. My house adds really nothing to my characters: no passives, no buffs, just literally nothing. So, technically, tiny Inn room equal to biggest house

Why player would even need to have some house?
    1. RP purposes. Ok, it's fine for it, bigger - better, some theater actions can be done there etc. Extreme minority of players are RPers. And never seen something about that on the YouTube.
    2. Crafting purposes. Bad, coz no traders or bank. This has no any meaning anyway, because every city node still would be better. Even if some1 would waste 10k crowns on personal trader or banker, this still would be worse, coz trader can't repair and banker wouldn't allow you to use guild stores.
    3. Testing purposes. Yes, you can place dummies there and polish your rotations or test some stuff. There is no matter of what size your house has in this case
    4. Storage purposes. House storage chests has pretty limited capacity and expensive af. And can be accessed from this house only.
    5. Selfish purposes. Yes, you can place some trophies from dungeons or trials, or show your home design skill, but... I think 99% of players has the same trophies (noone would be amazed) and how other ppl (strangers) would get access to your house? Only if they are your friends or guildies. But trust me, 99% of them wouldn't even bothered to right click on your name and press "visit primary residence"!

There are entire guilds dedicated to decorating homes. Some have contests and events centered around housing. It is a part of the game they really enjoy. Sounds like maybe housing isn't your thing. If not, no big deal, simply do what you enjoy and let those that enjoy housing continue to do so.

There is no equivalent to a property that has all of the set stations. Especially for master writs.

I do this all the time and I think its cool, especially when you run into the home owner. I also own just over 50% of the available homes in ESO....

Love the Psyjic villa. Probably still won't buy it because it is empty with the item limits and there is no wayshrine furnishing to make a quick exit but it is really great. If housing was functional I would totally buy it.

I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.

It never made sense to me why the Bosmer only get single-pod, double-pod and triple-pod homes, but not trees. The model used in Cormount, for example, could be used singly in a fenced-off area at the edge of the map as a home.

And Argonians only get mud huts, so far. I have hopes that Murkmire will change that.

In all honesty I don't see the point in larger homes as the item limit is just so small you cant do what you really want with them. On medium houses its 600 items and large is 700. only 100 more items which is beyond ridiculous. I agree with so many people that it needs to be increased by X2 1400 items would completely fix our item issues, you wouldnt need any more than that. But some of these houses are becoming too large and 700 is a joke, no point buying them.

I just love a variety. I think we'll see, and I hope to see, an increase in offered styles and sizes.
The larger homes do have challenges at times due to housing item limitations, however, there are new furnishings coming out all the time which I many times, end up replacing older items with and which also have helped reduce the number of slots needed.
It would be very nice however, if we could ride a mount around our homes. Some are so expansive with so much ground to cover, that getting around from one place to another can take a while.
