stamina pet build for Sorc?

Won't work. Pet's scale off of max magicka, in order to have good dps as a stamina build you need stamina/weapon dmg. You could go with the "Pelinal's Aptitude Set" for a hybrid build to make anything you invest in to weapon dmg increase your spell dmg, but there isn't really anything that will boost your magicka and stamina at the same time. There are sets which do both but you will end up with a pretty low pool for both stam/mag.

To be clear. It CAN work, it just wouldn't work well. You can play however you want in solo, you could probably get 20k+ dps with a solid rotation and good gear but it will never match the 35k+ of focused builds in pve.

Also.. stam sorcs can use the storm atro ultimate no problem, its actually pretty good because it's sustained dmg over time with the only synergy we can really offer other classes for major berserk without sacrificing too much.

Well, the twilight's damage & heal scales with magicka. The scamp's damage scales with magicka. The clannfear is a pretty good tank and bow/bow sorcs sometimes use them at low levels. You don't care about their damage (which scales with magicka), just their health and durability (which does not scale with magicka). The problem with clannfear is that the stamsorc lacks the magicka to keep the clannfear alive (via shields and heals like a magsorc can) in a protracted hard fight (like 1v1 WB). I should think a 2h build would be up close anyway so a pet tank is not really necessary and the two required slots could be much better employed.

I've been trying to do that specific build in a very casual way (meaning without farming for equipment) since I started playing for role playing reasons and it's definitely not optimal. X)

Ultimates scale off of max resource/dmg so as a stam user the storm atro ult would have good dmg with investment in to stam/wep dmg. You would miss out on the CP for magicka dmg which could be about 11% dmg, you can still invest 20% direct dmg from master at arms and thaumaturge. The other thing would be the missing spell penetration that you wouldn't have from cp. If you're going with the lover mundus you would have built in 4k pen for both which is nice.

Maw
Mork
and sunderflame I think

Prey buffs your summoned via armor pets

Heavy attack DW high chance to proc maw

Over 22k dps

Fun, works for almost all content (probably not vet trials tho)
