A lot of people ask for this, personally I'm just meh about it, but with the release of these monster style outfits effectively letting you wear one monster set while looking like you have a different one on, zos is rapidly running out of excuses to not allow vampires to hide their veiny grossness.

To people against hiding vamparism, don't hide your gear which provides gameplay benefits behind costumes or outfits, or skin behind skins

    Edit: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/416462/class-rep-vampire-feedback-thread/p1
Please let it be known on this official thread that you desire a hide vampirism skin
Also look at the poll here how many people are not vampires to be vampires, but for the passives which are to good to pass up

no, we spend time designing our characters to look pretty,
no, we don't want to look like a flashlight, its the same response from the anti hide vampirism crowd and they just don't get it.

Wear a disguise, like the Servant Outfit from a quest I cant remember the name of.

It hides vampirism now, and shows off your natural skin

That's the trade off. Want vampire power, gotta be ugly. What is more important to you, how you look or certain powers?

I've seen tuns of excuses in the lore to how Vampires can disguise themselves, Rivenspire has quite a few.
Let us hide vampirsm with a "none" option in the collections menu, let us hide every piece of armor in the outfit station, at the very least let us hide shoulders belts, and gloves please zos I just wana run around as a prisoner without having to find a belt or shoulderpads that fit

no, we spend time designing our characters to look pretty,

But then you go and become a Vampire, knowing there's a visual consequence. I do though understand the desire to look exactly how you want to, but we can't have our way completely, and Vampirism is a special case. This isn't just hiding an armor piece or wearing a particularly covering Body Marking. You're supposed to be Cursed/Infected, your body reflects this infection and it's stages of severity. And honestly just be glad there isn't a stage where you actually turn into a Vampire Lord Gargoyle thing ala Skyrim or that one quest Boss in Eastmarch.

Besides if there's an exception made for Vampires, then who's to say the Werewolves won't chime in? What if they don't like looking like a giant dog on steroids but still want to use the skills?

Do people who always come in say "just wear masks, skins and disguises" really think they're helping? It's almost as annoying as people who tell you to gimp yourself for more of a challenge. Obviously they care about their appearance so throwing on an equally unappealing skin is not the solution

but costumes and outfits completely hiding your gear from showing if its light medium or heavy is fine? or hiding your master axes as daggers? nope you all simply overlook that conveniently. Vampires in lore can use illusion magic to hide their vampirism. Werewolves are too into a primal rage to focus any magic to hide their lycanthropy or use magic

what is the reason you want to hide it my friend?

i dont think you can ask to hide vampirism when you made the choice to be a vampire. the simple solution is to either use a skin or wear armour that covers you, i know thats not what you want but it doesnt make sense to hide vampirism, again, because you made the choice.

Solution is right here. She stated ways already in the game to hide vampirism. Nothing more is needed.

There are a number of skins available in game and some have even been sold in the crown store.

To add to this, there are even Polymorphs available for free in game.

This is an excellent point. Costumes, outfits, polymorphs, and skins would have to only be visible to the player equipping them to correct this issue.

Yeah...I still don't understand why you cannot do it.

Its called illusion magic....vampires have always used illusion magic....why can't they use it too mask the visual appearance when hiding among the populace or in certain places?

    Its lore friendly as well...

Vampirism is an in game choice. Key word there, "choice." Everybody and their brother knows that vampires (in nearly all forms of media) always look pretty awful and scary. If you don't want that look in a game where they exist in the lore...there are a few options:

    1. Stay in Vampirism stage 1
    2. Equip a skin
    3. Wear some kind of armor, hat, or costume that hides the appearance
    4. Polymorphs
    5. Cure the vampirism and go back to being a normal soulless being on Nirn trying to fight the good fight against Molag Bal like the rest of us.

I myself am a vampire and I've never complained about the appearance cause I almost always follow these tips. I'm definitely not trying to be rude or anything, I'm just trying to provide some options. Also I want to reiterate the fact that vampirism is a choice :) I don't hear werewolves talking about how they wish they could look less "scary" in werewolf form ;)

None of it's lore friendly anyway, a blood-starved vampire would be attacked on sight, let alone one that looks like my abomination. NPC vamps can hide their appearance, so why can't we? I personally am not fussed, when I see how bad I look it's a good reminder to get some blood down me before I get into a fiery trial. But, I don't see a problem with letting other people hide it, and I don't get people being anti about it, let others play how they want unless it impacts your gameplay negatively.

Depends on the strain of Vampirism. Skyrim vampires are only weakened in sunlight, for example.
