Cyrodiil - I was God for about 15 seconds

Jumped into cyrodil last night on PC EU, was probably in for about 5 mins near a keep before it lagged and my character was getting stuck in animations and stuff, took me a while to realise everyone else was standing still as well as I wasn't slap bang in the middle of battle but just hunting small groups round our forward camp. Anyways I log out and straight back in and I was still near the forward camp but there was a lot of people spaced out crouching in stealth who weren't sat there like 30 seconds earlier, one jumps out of stealth and attacks a team mate and I realise for some reason I can see and even sort of attack stealthed enemies, it was hilarious as they had no idea what was happening. Think it only lasted about about 15 seconds but never had that happen before.

Did not have siege who annoyed me a lot
Yes I was disconnected but client did not understand so taking it would not register, ques I could not even damage the walls.Grinding just make you go in circles.

Funny story. But I would be careful about posting this (in fact you may even want to think about deleting it). You might get banned for exploiting a bug/lag and playing in such a way as what was not intended ^^Edited by Jeremy on July 24, 2018 9:53AM0 -

But surely for it to be explotation and not just a case of other players own conenctions being of poor quality, ZOS would first have to admit chronic lag on their behalf rendering PvP unplayable for all but the chosen one.0 -

TheDarkoil✭✭✭I don't know about the connections quality but the server was at max capacity on all 3 factions. To be honest when I logged back in I wasn't even sure what I was looking at, could have been my own team mates in stealth but something just looked odd. You know when in pve if an enemy chases you out of their movement range they stop and run away and you can sort of attack them but it doesn't do damage, that's basically what I could do.0

supaskrub✭✭✭✭✭Something similar happened to me in cyro last night also... I was at a keep defence stood on the raised walkway at the side of the outer door, AoE everywhere and it was inevitable that i would die, anyways i dc'ed before i got the chance to die. Respawned back in, still alive and still stood in a load of AoE and thought to myself something doesnt look right, it was like i was in first person view (reality was i was invisible and was taking no damage). I jumped down and literally walked through the middle of 20+ AD and all the AoE's etc, did not get attacked, took no damge from the AoE and got right to the inner keep door before the game returned to normal.. never even thought to take advantage and bag myself a few scalps..lol0 -

✭I remember one time going into Cyrodiil and I didn't see anyone but the wall was down at the keep and the health was dropping on the inner wall of a keep. I watched and waited as it flipped and got no AP. I was so confused so I ported out of Cyrodiil and ported back in and I saw everyone. If I had gotten the AP, I would be in god mode. No one could attack me and I could make it to the next flagged keep and get AP without doing anything. That was the oddest Cyrodiil moment I ever had.Your friendly neighborhood crazy cat lady of ESO

I was playing in Cyrodiil last night on Xbox NA, standing on the flag in Bruma waiting on it to flip, only to hit a loading screen. 30 seconds later, I pop out of the loading screen to find my character rapidly flying through the air (above the buildings) away from the flag, dead from 25k worth of fall damage.1

I often lag out and disconnect in the heat of the fighting, only to log back into an enemy-owned and sealed inner keep. I just let the guards kill me while I'm writing a bug report complaining to ZOS about not sending me to my home gate instead.0 -
