adeptusminor✭✭✭✭It's really going to depend on what sort of content you are doing. Trials and PVP zergs will bring pretty much every system to its knees, even with everything set to low. Dungeons aren't as hard on a system and overland/delves/public dungeons are the least taxing.0 -

But while we're here...
Asus armed the GU501 with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 GPU with 6GB of VRAM, so it's VR-ready and can play most games at high settings. In fact, I cranked Middle-earth: Shadow of War up to ultra at 1080p, and it ran between 45 and 53 frames per second as I fled from, and attempted to fend off, a particularly angry herd of orcs (one of which was on fire, because, hey, fantasy).

The Asus ROG GU501 does a lot right: It looks great, it plays games well and its audio quality is solid. Its only real sin is that its display isn't bright enough.

What kind of a experience are you after? Do you want to have maxed graphics or do you want to have optimised graphics for playing as effective as you can?Moons and sands shall be your guide and path.

For the record, ESO's performance is generally centered around single core performance. I'd say, keep it at high. Your setup could likely push ultra, but high is the best your going to get without causing real issues. Not with the PC, the game, which is highly unstable.0 -

What kind of a experience are you after? Do you want to have maxed graphics or do you want to have optimised graphics for playing as effective as you can?
I would like to play as effectively I can while maintaining a somewhat pleasant experience with the graphics. I'd like to maintain high textures, for example.

✭I would change particle effects to lowest on both, helps alot and I dont notice any difference. Shadows helps alot and for some it look better with them low. water, vsync off can help. All the tickable options can be turned of without you noticing much beauty change except grass. Try those out and see.Moons and sands shall be your guide and path.
