Shimmering shield alone scale up to 60K+ on good magic builds + dampen magic + healing ward . Warden also have instant burst heal.

Oh boy. You're clueless about things You're talking about that it just encouraged me to explain few things to you.

Fisrt and for most , I dont know how You missed it since this is in thread title but let me enlight You , this thread is about PvP where all shields are cut by 50% , so You wont see Smimerring Shield with 60k tooltip or anything close to that in PvP.

Next thing , Shimmering Shield scales purely from max health , here is formula for scaling $1 = 1.49994 Health + 0.4371 , so if You would like to see 60k shields from this ability in PvP You would have to run build with 80k health (good luck with that). Shimmering shiled is also not considered as thing we all recognize as shield. It's something between dk wings and shield since it only absorbs projectiles so basicly if You'll be attacked by the builds that are not using projectiles or are not highly based on them (lot of them in PvP) this skill looses on effectivenes.

Also this ability despite tooltip that may look high have one simple rule rule. It absorbs 3 projectiles so even if You would have that 80k hp and 60k shimmering shield enemy can just use 3 light attacks from bow or staff that will hit You for 1-2k each and Your 60k shimmering wil be gone.

Dampen magic and healing ward are non class shields so every magicka builds have acces to it. Dampen sacales purely from max magicka so You need to have high magicka to have really high tooltip on it. Also dampen cost is pretty high and if You'll choose harness magicka morph which thanks to magicka restoiring feature is cheaper shields will be weaker.

As for instant burst heal yes warden have it but I wouldnt call this ability extremly strong on magicka warden. In solo situation it's at best mediocre ability since there isnt much that follows on magwarden that would make this ability strong. Magplar have burst heal but also have purge , dk have burst heal but also have major mending on demand and tankiness builded into class , magwarden is just lacking something that would make that burst heal more then just kinda okish ability at best. If magwardens would be that extremly strong as You described dont You think PvP would be overfloded with them ? Instead all we see are most of the time magwardens healers or tanks and sometimes DDs but most of them without succeses.
