This is nothing. Running with my daugther, we needed about 2 months to get a Rattlecage Flame Staff for her. And instead of heaving at least a bit of fun running on vet, of course we ran on normal to increase the number of runs to get the flame staff.I've been farming for Rattlecage Flame Staff. Over 50+ over 3 days.
Me too. After several years, I finally gave up doing the dungeon.SakuraRush wrote: »I've never had a SPC resto staff drop in any trait.
This does not help much.SakuraRush wrote: »Farm with a group.

Has one, bought key fragmets for over an million gold.SakuraRush wrote: »I've never had a SPC resto staff drop in any trait. It happens. We aren't meant to get everything we want. Learn to make due without.
Also I'm confused as to what having extra characters has to do with this.
Farm with a group. That's three more chances for the desired item to drop.
If you aren't having fun doing something, stop doing it. Figure out a way to make things work without the staff.
Same as SPC healing one, its the obvios choice so it don't exist, think I have 5 spc lightning ones.WaltherCarraway wrote: »
There are just items in this game you’ll never get. I main a Stam Sorc and I only pull vMA Inferno Staves. I have pulled so many infused staves. I just want the bow. I have been running 5-10 times a day for weeks and have not gotten the bow. But hey, if I ever decide to use my Magicka characters they’ll be stacked
This game has never been less fun and more grindy (and yes, that includes coldharbour!) than when I've been farming for Rattlecage Flame Staff. Over 50+ over 3 days and you've dropped the ice staff more times than I have extra characters (6+) but for some reason the ONLY drop I've been looking for eludes me.
This is such a terrible design. You can reasonably expect farming for armors, hell even jewelry is way more common, but weapons are just so god awful in a saturated drop pool. Please for the love of god let us just get the thing we want after 20 runs.

I've tallied up 60 Maelstrom runs
I have no idea how many I've done that I did not record.
Only one freaking winterborn ring.
Only one, and shouldn't it be a 17% drop chance?!

Ah, when people don't understand percentages it's kinda funny. 17% does not meant you will get one 17% of the time...

Ah, when people don't understand percentages it's kinda funny. 60 attempts with just a single winterborn ring assuming a 17% chance to drop has 1 in 349,900 chance to occur.
