If i delete 3 characters, within a half an hr or so time limit, does it stack and make my next delete available 3 days later? Or is it still only 24 hours per delete period?

    3 per 24 hrs I believe

    It's been 24 hours, and I still don't have a delete option.

Then it hasn't been 24 hours.
Relog. The timer starts when you delete your character last.
So if you delete 1 and 20 hours passes but you delete again then you gotta wait 24 hours again.

Does not sound too good. So much time in characters and sometimes so much money (horse feeding, craft, motifs, inventory, skill points, guilds etc.). I would never use that feature ever.

FYI, you earn 1 delete every 24 hours, not 3. If you delete 3 then 24 hours you can delete one more and so on.

This was my understanding of how it worked as well.

If it's a high level character you've put a lot of time and money into then sure. But that's not always the case.

When Morrowind came out I deleted my 2nd templar to re-make her as a Warden. I'd had her for a couple of years but never really played her because even though I was using a different build it felt too similar to my main templar so she was only about level 15, had barely any riding skills or other upgrades (I think maybe the 1st bag slot?). She did know a few racial motifs, but since I have a dedicated crafter now that was irrelevant.

Even with a high level character if it's a choice between keeping one you'll never play and losing that progress to start over with one you will actually use it can be better to restart. If you never play them it doesn't really matter what they can do, because they're not doing it.

Sometimes even high level characters have to get flushed due to balancing here in ESO...

I have two templars i'm debating on flushing even with cash shop stuff and mount training etc... Honestly they are that bad the class deserves being flushed.. Thanks to continued poor developer balancing.
