Black Vine Villa or Twin Achers

Legendary_Belt
I've just got enough gold to get the Black Vine Villa but had me thinking twice after seeing the Twin Achers. The Twin Achers definitely has more space but Black Vine Villa has lots of head room that people built 2nd floors with it which is pretty creative & looks very nice at the same time. Also I'm an Altmer.

I prefer houses with more space, can b creative at, area/town near the house with more accessibilities & cost lesser than 80,000g.
Which one should I go for? If there is any other house suggestion tht fits my preference, pls suggest it too.

Black Vine - you can easily fit a second floor and make some nice gardens (especially if you have access to summerset limestone walls), but if you don't have ESO plus you'll run into the furnishing limit. For an Altmer you can get pretty creative in how you build this one. I made it into a wizard's study with a nice shady garden. Unfortunately there not a lot of services nearby.

Twin Arches has more horizontal indoor space and a nice patio, but absolutely no way to install a second floor. I made it into a bar/pub, because with ESO plus and such a flat indoor area theres a lot of furnishing slots for adding details. The view is also nice, but not as naturally appealing for an Altmer. This house is close to crafting services but no bank or writs.

As for other small houses that fit the accessibility criteria, Snugpod has access to everything but the house is rather meh, it does however have massive vertical space if you're creative enough. Humblemud has immediate access to everything except crafting writs, though its as appealing as a mud house can be (it's absolutely amazing though if you want to ignore the house itself and just terraform the outside using lots and lots of rocks and trees). Captain Margaux's also has access to everything but it's small and has no outdoors, and might not be suitable for an Altmer aesthetic.

Thanks for the info. I'll probably get Humblemud or Black Vine Villa

Autumn's Gate is a nice house for 60,000 gold. Location isn't real good though.

I'll second Black Vine, it's my current project and am having a lot of fun with converting it into a little chapel for my Altmer Templar.

If you have Imperial Edition, then Cyrodilic Jungle House (71k) would be the best option, coz it has biggest courtyard from that price category, but house by itself is pretty tiny
    If not, then try
Autumns Gate - courtyard and big house
Twin Arches - remember, that all redguard houses has flat top, so this can be easy 2nd open floor :D

I'd say Black Vine too out of those 2 - CJH as the other option as you can do some 'outside living' easily there. I have both Twin Arches and Black Vine though I don't use them as houses ... one is an apothecary shop and the other is a barber / tattoo / holistic massage (don't get ideas) shop. I went right round twin arches and couldn't find any way to get on to the flat roof - you can place things on its edge but don't seem to be able to get up on to it, like you can do on some others, so what might seem like extra space isn't that useful.

I like the daedric platforms for mezzanines etc - they give you a flat floor unlike the planking which always has one sprung up which means rugs etc clip. - I made quite a nice treehouse out of them in another house

The caution here is Twin Arches has a low skybox/invisible wall - so the flat roof is inaccessible. So disappointing.

    Well, that sucks then :(
And this house isn't good then either - pretty small courtyard

Actually, the Imperial Edition requirement for Cyrodiilic Jungle House and Domus Phrasticus were removed when Clockwork was released, at the same time they removed achievement requirements
