Obviously it would be in a eso type way no more than a 20-30 player battle royale with 2-3 maps maybe?

Bgs was a amazing addition to the game and i find bgs more fun than cyrodil. Cyrodil is pretty boring 75% of the time.

I can see players really enjoying pushing for leaderboards in this type of mode since it would be a solo type thing.

I think it would be so awesome. Players will have so many different things to do with different build types.

Like i can see people investing fully into a battle royale build. Would be so cool

EDIT - i would also make this mode in only NON CP to prevent endless matches LOL

    I believe battle royale is better suited in which everyone is the same and gear(limited) is acquired on the battlefield so everyone has the same access.

    This. The only way Royale works in a remotely fair and competitive manner is if skill is the determining factor and not gear/builds.

    50 people are dropped off on a starter island map with nothing but a broom weapon and bucket helmet.

    Heavy sacks and crates randomly scattered around the map will provide random gear and consumables to use only for the duration of the match.

    We will, of course, call this the Pay To Lose Festival, a time-honored tradition of closing up shop and honoring the original namesake of Rash Merchant's Plummet by beating each other senseless.

    I think it would be fun to allow a free for all battle in homes. Let the owner of the home set the rules from a menu.

    Would also be fun to instance some of the dungeons to become player vs player. The way I see it happening is an announcement similar to the ones we see when the server is about to go down. You could opt out of seeing the announcements if you want. Something along the lines of 'last man standing begins in Ebon Crypt in ten minutes'.
    If you want to fight you go there and enter the dungeon. When twenty (as an example) players are in another instance is created for another twenty players. When the timer hits zero the fight begins.

    Right now, solo players funnel themselves into battlegrounds, then complain about premades. Seems battle royale is exactly what that set of players is looking for.

    Solo - battle royale
    Small Group - battlegrounds
    Large Group - Cyrodiil

    With some overlap between them.

    ESO has different classes and builds, it's unbalanced in 1v1 and it will always be that. Battle Royale simply can't work.

    Minecraft is actually one of the original battle royal games with the hunger games servers
