Falkreath Challenger

My wife, a friend and I finished the no death last night and got the skin from falkreath. Our other friend still needed no the speed run. After three attempts we gave up. All attempts were well under 20 minutes. We even did a hard mode run under 20 minutes. Read up on it and we decided to kill everything before the first boss instead of skipping since everyone said that had to be done and still didn’t work for him. I never had an issue with the speed run before. Anyone know what’s up with it? The achievement doesn’t state that everything has to be killed and I never had to do it before.

I've got my speed run while skipping all the mobs, but it was 11 months ago, so maybe it's a fresh bug.

My best guess then is his account is bugged. I have a friend who apparently can never get the SP challenger achievement. I forget the exact details, but it was something about a disconnect during the last boss fight. Whatever happened, apparently something triggered the server to think she completed the achievements she should’ve earned then but without actually awarding them to her (vet and speed run iirc). Because the server thinks she already has them, even if she beats it on vet or on vet in under the timer limit, she doesn’t get the achievements. And customer support has said there’s nothing they can do re: account-specific bugged achievements.

If he’s had any connection issues during the Domihaus fight in the past, it could unfortunately be the case that he should’ve earned the speedrun that time but didn’t for similar reasons, and now never can.

If I remember to I can see if I can get the speedrun later today on a character who doesn’t have it yet. If others can’t then it’s probably a bug with the global achievement and something ZoS could fix, but idk how or when they could’ve broken it considering I don’t think Falkreath has been touched for several patches now (BRF was around the launch of Summerset, however).

That’s some bs imo. But in this case this character had never been into falkreath. We did no death first attempt. So he still needed HM and speed run so 2nd run we dwas d both HM and speed run. The HM counted, speed run did not. 3rd we killed first group of dreadhorn invaders then onto 1st boss then on to complete and still no achievement. 4th attempt we killed everything up to first boss then continued on. We skip everything’s between second and third boss because it seems almost impossible to kill every single thing in under 20 minutes, especially with a healer in group. Our longest run was 17 minutes with starting timer as soon as we traveled on and straight to first enemies. If it’s bugged then hopefully it’ll be fixed was just wondering if there was something that had been changed that we needed to do.
