Ayup. I was lucky - I have a couple of friends who have been in the game way longer than I have. They have given me some really valuable advice - including just making a crafter. Spreading stuff around is really worse in this game than in the other games I played years back.

Never should I have made a Magic Dragonknight becuase of how much I love pyromancy and instead just make a Magic Sorcerer. The game would have been alot less frustrating with how I feel my favorite main is just never going to be an amazing dps when it came to end game compared to any class(besides maybe the magden... sorry magden's hopefully we'll get better).. That's about it lol.

Don't bother crafting until much later in the game. The skill point drain is cripples learning to play.

The exceptions being alchemy and provisioning because of combat passives.

Don't buy the game. Just don't. You'll discover what gaming addiction is, and it's going to ruin your life. =(

Er.... what? This isn't the first MMO I've played. I played WoW and then RIFT from 2006 to 2016. I quit both - cold turkey you might say - when both companies took their games in directions that didn't suit me. I canceled 7 accounts in WoW, and 5 in RIFT, without a qualm or a backward glance.

Addicted? Nope, not to MMOs. Now, to CRPGs in general, yeah, I suppose so. I got my first computer in 1984, and found my first CRPG in 1985 - the SSI Gold Box Series games.... I've played many SPMR games since then, and I actually tend to play an MMO like this one as a single player game.

I play this game, and all the TES SPMR games too. So no, I'm not addicted to a particular game....

Of course, I'm old. That might have something to do with it.

Yeah, but the message is what could I say to my first time self. I've played MMOs since Ultima Online, and never genuinely had gaming addiction to any of them. Not until ESO. It got to a point where if I was awake I was on ESO, and it was wrecking my life. I forced myself to quit after a year (granted, my PC kind of exploded) and killed the addiction. But it definitely caused me a lot of problems.

Lets see I did have my share of mistakes, but I did get lucky. I ended following some veteran advice and researching crafting on day 1. Sure I didn't have all passives, but when master crafting writs came out I knew 9 traits in everything. I feed my horse daily though 250 was a lot back then. It would leave myself broke. Now xD I spend 5k or more as if it was change on anything that shines in my eye. I ended making bosmer Sorcerer instead of night blade because I thought I would lose my beta rewards if I didn't bank them. Yet I had so much fun with that I don't think I would been playing as long without it.

Now if I could turn back time though... I don't think I would start a guild ... and a trade guild no less at lvl 10. >.> I can't believe you guys followed me. It sure was rough when we turned into trial guild, but we did accomplish great things together if only for awhile. I see some of you still reaching near very top of leadboards. It makes me proud to think I know where you guys started. Sadly many moved on, but I think we have done better as social and dungeon guild, and those people meet along way have never been forgotten.

Honestly, at the end of day. I don't think I would tell myself anything. After all, things worked out well, I cried, laughed, and smiled and enjoyed the world that told my tale.

Back in the beginning, we used to 'feed' our horses apples, oats or hay to increase the speed, capacity and stamina of your mount. This was before riding lessons, I think is what theyre called now.

You can reach run speed cap while invisible. Avoid all fights and just pick up nodes in peace.

For inventory (bag) speed, or stamina ( for horse sprinting)
