Bound armor morph

I'm playing a Khajjit sorcerer, using medium armor & bow, and I got Bound armor to increase my armor, due to me being quite squishy. The extra armor helped alot, but now I can morph it into.

100+ extra armor bonus ... or ... 8% extra damage when doing heavy attacks.

My question is... Is heavy attacks just melee heavy attacks? Or is a full-drawn bow a heavy attack aswell?

Also, which one do you think is best for leveling? I can handle mobs very well, but I do get killed quite quickly if they swarm me, and the armor helps alot.

Heavy are any attacks that require you to hold down the left mouse button, regardless of weapon.

That depends on what you are planning to do. I personally think the extra armor is better... Remember that the numbers you're looking at are at Rank 1; those bonuses increase. In many cases --- both PvE and PvP --- you won't be doing heavy attacks. Particularly with the bow you lose DPS on heavy attacks, because they do not automatically release. Essentially, it is up to the player to "release" at exactly the right time. That makes heavy/charged bow excellent for a first strike, but a poor choice for prolonged engagements.
