~Lead by an introvert, for introverts and the introvert-adjacent ;) who just want to do IN-character interactions.~

PRINCIPLES:

Organic:

We are not a RP "guild," so much as a type of guild "hub": a group to join for chance encounters and the greater possibility of phasing into instances together, where we might agree about some spots to wander through if we want a greater chance at encountering each other and naturally seeing what roleplay develops from there. The idea is as un-arranged & real-world chance encounter-like as possible. I hate setup, themed roleplay and organized roleplay and I know I'm far from alone.

To this end, we do not arrange guild events OOCly or through guild chat, and we do not use chat channels to announce where our character will be in the game world so that others use artificial (OOC) means to find us.

Immersive:

Other than arranged roleplay encounters, what really kills RP enjoyment for me and takes me out of the game and my character is a lot of OOC discussion in the background or on the sidelines. I'm an introvert and honestly the way I most prefer interacting with others in games is through my characters. How about you? If you feel the same and really wish you could be rid of most* of the OOC & guild chat that almost takes dominance at times in RP guilds or hubs, this may be for you. :)

*(We do have a Discord for those who wish to chat OOC. But we do not make Guild Chat available in-game.)

Open-World:

Our RP is OPEN-WORLD RP to give our members the best chance of freely finding & encountering each other "in the wild" with only a few location suggestions (the bare necessity) offered by the guild to substantially increase those chances.

We do not promote or encourage private-residence RP *through the guild* or allow guild channels to be used to arrange it. [This is like trade guilds' common "No WTB/WTS in guild chat" rule, since that undermines their reason for existing.] If players wish to RP with other Freeplayers in a private home, that is something that we hope will be arranged ICly in the open world, but it cannot be promoted through guild channels (guild chat, Discord, guild website).

Similarly, to ensure that all members have the highest chance possible to have the largest pool of available Freeplayers to encounter in the open world, we do not allow RP through our Discord or guild website, as this takes members out of & away from that open-world pool.

More character story Freedom:

This is a group for open-minded roleplayers who are willing to give others the benefit of the doubt regarding their character's story. No one is going to interview you to see if you "belong" here based on what your character's backstory is.

Some RP groups or hubs use what they call a "lore friendly" rule, but it's in a highly idiosyncratic, more lore-RIGID manner than anything else. Here, lore-POSSIBLE or -not-terribly-unlikely are okay, since TES itself has kind of played with a "lore funsies!"/lore flexible type of attitude.

Here's the key: If your character's backstory or very being doesn't fundamentally alter the reality/world of other NPCs or players (which would be godmodding), it's probably fine here. I know this is open to interpretation, but your best test is simply to start RPing with others with your ideas, and let THEM let you know in-character, when their character thinks yours is a crazy or has flipped their wig.

While I can never make promises about others' preferences to play alongside anyone's ideas, you are totally welcome here! :)
