Let's talk about the Gryphon issue and more...

Currently it hasn't spawned on PS4 for about 2 days (at least that's what me and Zone chat have experienced). Supposedly you wait across the bridge, don't stand in the spawn location, log out, log in, do the hokey pokey and pray to Batman. Still, no spawn.

There are people who now deliberately stand in the spawn area to "troll" (even though I don't see it working whether they were there or not) and dailies can't be done unless you find someone happy enough to share a different one.

There's also an issue with the Idirik boss. If you activate a few wards then log out for 24 hours you can't activate the last ward. Therefore needing to abandon the quest and lose that daily.

I'm also getting stuck in chairs. I've accidently sat down a few times in Summerset when looting and have became a victim to a superglue mastermind. Only relogging solves the issue.

The gryphon boss try teleporting to a different instance. The indrik bos you need to be grpd and have your grp activate wards so you can get the last one down

I've never had to be grouped to do it before. It literally is impossible to activate with the bug I mentioned. You cannot select it, there's no arrow above it etc.

I have also tried to join a different instance for the Gryphon boss and had no luck.

For the chair issue. Play an emote to free yourself. It happens to me in that Wrothgar daily pickup area

Stand in spawn area? Bosses should respawn even if someone is there or not. I've had that grphyon world boss duo spawn on me when I was standing in the area (I was testing which bosses I could solo or if I could solo all the world bosses at the time). Boss duo spawned on me in xbox na, odd it didn't for you. Glitch on that end?

Damn things have spawned right on top if me

so don't think it makes much difference where people stand - that's just superstition.

First time I went there as I was waiting and changing a few skills I hit some glitch where weapons were backwards from skills so I wayshrined out which fixed the problem came back and they spawned when I walk up

Someone else said it before but the solution at the moment for the Gryphon spawn is to change instances. I was in an instance that had them spawning and a guildmate was complaining that they did not spawn for her for hours. I invited her to group with me, she traveled to my instance, we disbanded the group, and she went to the WB and they were spawned.

Haha, totally agree!

Yeah I don't believe the issue is where you stand, it's just what people are saying at the moment. There is definitely an issue on PS4 EU with that particular world boss. I've tried different instances but I've not been very lucky on that front. It just needs a fix of some kind - although I doubt that's helpful as we don't know what's causing them to not spawn so frequently.

When I last had the Gryphons I waited... idk how long but it was at least a stack and a half of fish skinned. Went to do the nearby geyser, came back, no spawn. Went away to do something else; no spawn. Came back next morning: not only were they there but two players had got them to about 35%.
Think I'll skip this boss next time... and B'korgen and Keelsplitter, both of which is are a bloody nightmare when there's a lot of lag. Can't avoid what you can't see. -____-
Also, a pox on whoever came up with those WB mechanics...
