I get 250 fps constant when questing
60 fps generally in trials
Certain bosses 12 fps (vmol twins vhof boss 4 and execute of boss 5)
Pvp varies between 100 and 5
I run most setting lowest
Sub sampling high
Max particles + distance
What screen you got? I don't yet know of a monitor with 250hz refresh rate.

Not 100% sure if spending €1000+ on the 1080Ti is worth it compared to only €600 for the 1080.
That CPU (Core i5-8600K) is waste of money. It's hardly better in games than 8400 but price is close to Core i7-8700 which is better for future proofing and even now. Just buy 8700K. Also, with GTX 1080/Vega 64+ you want as much as fast RAM. There is a noticable difference.Septimus_Magna wrote: »My current rig is pretty old:
FX-8370 OC to 4.4GHz

Before Summerset launches I will build a new rig with these specs:
I5-8600K
GTX1080Ti
32GB DDR4-3000 RAM
512GB SSD

At which resolution you want to play? If not 4K I think 1080Ti is total overkill.
Still overkill. ESO is like every MMO heavily CPU bound.Septimus_Magna wrote: »Rair.Kitani wrote: »Septimus_Magna wrote: »My current rig is pretty old:

My aim is 1440p with stable 60 fps.

If your main game is ESO, GTX 1080Ti is huge overkill. GTX 970 is more than enough. Better spend money on 8700K with good motherboard and cooler.
Basically, cheapest version:
Intel Core i5-8400 + some B360 MB + 2.400 or 2.666 MHz RAM + GTX 970
For SATA SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500 or Crucial MX300 525 GB.
Buy 8400 or 8700(K).Septimus_Magna wrote: »That CPU (Core i5-8600K) is waste of money. Many benchmarks show only a small difference between the i5-8600k and the i7-8700k for gaming applications. Have you tried the 8600K or did you hear from someone who tried it?
Maybe its better to get the i7-8700K and GTX1080. I do want the K because I plan to OC 10-15%.

Do you do trials nMOL trials is a lot like zergs, and you should pvp for the easy transmute stones. pvp pug zerg is mostly like normal non craglorn trialsLaptop
i5 6300hq
GTX 960m 2gb
8gb ram
1tb harddrive, nothing fancy
Play at 1080p, aa on, vsync off, settings all on high, view distance 60, other 2 sliders max, all boxes below ticked on.
Non combat in delves fps is 45-85. Combat can drop that to the 30's
Standing in wayrest town centre when busy drops fps to 28. Also in the event with so many people killing bosses the fps can momentarily drop quite a bit but I have no problems playing on this system and am prob gonna keep it another year.
Don't PvP so no idea how big zergs effect this system.
Pentium III 500Mhz
Voodoo 2 graphics
64Mb Sdram
Not running as well as I would like.
