When your instinct is to dodge roll...
...as you are facing a Magicka Sorcerer, your stamina is dangerously low, and you don't have CC immunity.
I had one of those moments just now and mid-dodge roll I knew how it was going to play out.
As I was waiting to respawn I started thinking, why does damage not break hard CC in PvP?
Does this make sense to anyone else? I remember back when Agony was Agony I would cast it on enemies in Craglorn. As soon as I hit the one with Agony, it would break free.

rimmidimdim✭✭✭It's not a bad idea. Except that game balance is partly based on break cc costs of stamina. But....... since break cc is pretty much the buggiest thing in game, yes I believe this is a good idea that should be thought about. If this turns into a NB sorc war I might quit. Cheers.0 -

pretty much, but 99% of the NB's being at least half ok because the class is WAY to easy to play, where as MagSorcs, just about all of them suck bc the class actually takes skill.. needing to know when to recast shields, knowing how to build strong shields so youre not only casting shields, know how to combo and when to time the procs etc...0 -

✭✭✭Nah, this isn't a nerf Sorc thread at all.
I use Fossilize on my MagDK and Fear on my 2 MagNBs so all of these characters would be effected as well.
I know in my example above it's a L2P issue and I need to stop dodge rolling anywhere in the 40m vicinity of Sorcs when I am already dangerously low on stamina.
Okay that part might have a hidden agenda to it...
