atm im using 2h main hand s&b back hand, just wondering what you guys think, should i use heroic slash for snare and ult gain or reverb for defile? ive noticed that it can sometimes be hard to hit someone with dswing while i have reverb on and other times i can deal alot of damage but some are able to outheal while perma blocking (templar stamdk)
thoughts? also i do not want to swap to using s&b as main bar so please dont comment that

use all snb skills: heroic slash, puncture and reverb. you wont need dizzying swing anymore, since light attack into puncture is similar dps and is very cheap to use.

Heroic slash is more a tool you want to use when outnumbered while reverb is op 1v1 so it depends on your play stile

remember guys im using dswing for my main dps and burst, i just want to know if the snare would be more useful for landing dswing or if defile would be more usefull for when i do land

Reverb for the major defile. If you are Dual Wielding you will get a lot of milage out of that defile. Also considering you have to be upclose to perform your burst it will compliment that set up.

Snare in general are little too easy to be removed on certain classes and stamina builds. Least with defile they would need an actual purge button to shake it.

I would go with heroic slash.

Reverb is strong but it’ll give cc immunity to your opponent which makes dizzying swing’s burst very poor.

I had a similar crossroads a while back, but I tried slash and ransack and decided the pen from ransack was the best; however, you have noxious breath so you don’t need that.

Overall, the snare from slash and the ultimate gen are too good for a dizzying build stamdk to passup

You euros and your aversion to the swing!!

Swing works well but you need to be on a high wep dmg build. Swing is easy to counter but if you get good with it you can really drain someone of their Stam when they try to block it.

The thing that makes swing so clutch is that it hits at the end of its channel, but you’re immediately able to do a follow up with an executioner/ reverse slice... which, if swing lands, is unblockable due to the knock back. So you can get two high dmg attacks to land in between an opponent’s GCD.

Swing Vs. Puncture is just two different playstyles, I prefer to be more bursty so I use swing, also, run both heroic and reverb, but if you have to choose one, run reverb. Defile is OP right now.
i do not read replies. still playing stamdk for some reason.

Just remember that defile will most likely get nerfed next update (only 4 seconds duration instead of 10). So afterwards I would definitively use heroic slash.

Right now I use both heroic and reverb, but when defile gets nerfed like they plan I will most likely drop reverb altogether.

Bash is better for 1v1/xv1 while heroic is a must for 1vx
