I love the game and I'm happy that I came back to playing...i've been back subscribed for a bit now...I have subscribed long enough to buy both assistants, all the chests and with my latest 6 month subscription I'm sitting on enough crowns to purchase all the DLC with leftover(all that stuff has ingame use)...so when it is time for renewal what would be my motivation not to just unsubscribe and use the crowns I have for all the DLC?

I get the main thing is the bottomless pack...but honestly that being the only thing worthwhile...I can just sell that stuff at low prices and buy what I need if and when I need it...because that in itself doesn't justify the subscription.

The extra crowns are ok, but i'm not one of those people that think digital fluff is worth hundreds of dollars and frankly the only fluff that is even remotely appealing are the mounts...i've never gotten anything from the free crown crates that I could care less about, so...once all the useful stuff is purchased there really isn't anything left

I guess in the future more DLC might come out and at that time I would probably resubscibe for a month or two for the crowns to buy the DLC but then I'm back at the point where there is no real point in staying subscribed.

I don't mean this is a rant or anything if that is how it sounds...I know there are probably plenty of people that love the crown store stuff and feel that it is every bit worth subscibing...and i'm not suggesting the game isn't but for me at least once I have the crowns to purchase all the stuff that is useful in the game there really isn't any further reason to subscribe...am I alone in this feeling? Just wondering...thank.

I think you answered your own question really for you personally with how you view things you don't have a reason, I continue to subscribe because I craft a lot, I know no matter what I have the DLCs covered I like supporting the company of the game I love and I have already gotten two of the four Radiant's I own from the crates I bought with my Crown allotment (the other two came from free crates.)

So for you not many reasons for me plenty of reasons....different strokes and no right or wrong answer.

The craft bag makes subscribing worth it. I don’t miss playing the inventory mini game.

I cant say your personal reasons are not valid. I think people need to subscribe(Not subscribe) for their own reasons. I love subbing. I have been doing it since it was live on Xbox in 2015. I craft a lot and I like saving up my crowns to buy things that are fun to have in the game that I really enjoy playing.

Sounds to me that you really don't need the craft bag so you might be able to un-sub for now.

Don't really understand the point of this thread. It seems like it isn't worth the money for you anymore so end your subscription. /thread closed.

For me, craft bag is the only reason to stay subscribed. If you're the kind of player that has no attachment to the craft bag, then it's very easy to drop the sub and just buy what you want as you go.

I just wanted other people's opinions is all...I still have a few months left on my six month subscription...You kind of commit to unsubbing when you buy all the DLC...so before I did that I just was curious on other people's thoughts and opinions...like I said I really enjoy this game and I don't have anything bad to say about it...just was wondering how other people felt and was looking for insights before I went and used my crowns for DLC and unsubscibed.

For me I have ESO+ for the craft bag BUT if anything else was taken away like crowns and supposedly free DLC I would stop subbing. I dont own all the DLC so it's nice to have as well.

For you since you have them all and don't care for the crowns or craft bag, it might not be for you anymore. You didn't mention about housing or bank space. You also get double of that as well. Have you taken that into consideration as well? Also the 10% more gold and experience as well.

I guess the biggest issue would be housing and bank space. Once that is gone and you start collecting/hording you will see you might just miss that.

As the others have said, it's a personal decision based on how you play the game and choose to pay for it. Personally, I have two accounts and subscribe to both because I love the game, and want to support it which I prefer to do through a subscription rather than the crown store (which I only use to buy housing as I have loads of free crowns and no gold). While the crafting bag is useful, I managed perfectly well before it came along. For me, the game hasn't really changed as a result of the switch in business model, I regard it as a subscription game with a store for cosmetic items that I have little or no interest in but which my subscription pretty much pays for if I do want something.

However, others will feel differently, especially if they have run out of content (which I never will) or have serious performance issues (which I never have had).

Each to his own - choice is always to be welcomed in any game.

I thought about the bank space being halved...what will happen with housing? I currently have a house with all the chests in it...with a non-sub it would lose 1/2 the spots to put things...my chests are in it now...do they stay? do they get removed? I would have to buy a bigger house to place the chests?

If you are over your housing amounts when your sub ends, everything will stay but you can not add anything till you take out everything over the amount.

Craft bag. I dont want to:
    A) keep a herd of mules.
    B) constantly manage inventory
    C) have to buy my crafting material
    D) Not have what i need when i go to craft and then have to mess with finding a trader that has it for a decent price, porting, getting it, finding the next item i need, repeat X amount of times.

Craft bag is $15 a month. The game doesnt have a sub. it entertains me for hours a month. Its worth it for my entertainment time not to be turned into inventory management online

For me it's the craft bag, double bank space and the double housing space.

The latter is a really big one for me.....

I love to decorate and frequently change my themes, so if I stopped subbing I would lose the ability to do that.

For example my 400 slot house would become a 200 slot house and as long as I didn't touch it would stay with the 400 items I had placed...…

However to do any kind of redecoration I would first have to remove 200 items before then starting to work with my now 200 slots...…

Oooooo shuddering even considering that and the following inventory nightmare that would ensue!! Oh wait my halved bank space isn't gonna help much either! :o
    When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!

For me it's the Craft Bag, access to DLC, Double Bank Space, Costume Dying and crowns for random stuff that pops up that I like that make the sub worth it. I don't care as much about the double transmutation crystals, double furnishing in houses, 10% increase to gold, experience, inspiration and trait research rates but some may.

I would suggest going through the list and make sure there's nothing in it that you'd miss more than you care about the $15 a month or whatever you're paying as it's not just the craft bag that we get... that's just the biggest thing.
