HOUSING: Making Your Own Rope-Bridges - Any Suggestions?

So anybody who previews the new island can see what i mean... i want to make my own rope bridges to add to various housing and yes that means the island too.

Sure, to move from the top bedroom structure balcony to my soon to be built treehouse (or over to the top of the waterfall from said soon-to-be treehouse) i can stretch out boards or platform blocks or even counters on a nice straight walkway, but it would be very nice to flip over some existing tent or hammock and spin it around to make me a rope bridge or three.

So the first best hope is obvious: Please zos give us rope-bridge recipes. (if you have already, where?)

Second best hope is - has anyone else done this and if so how?

You could probably try it with the tarps:

Otherwise if you want it to look more realistic, I can think of a number of ways that you can make it from scratch perhaps, but it might take up way too many item slots

Not rope but maybe you could use this, get a few turn them upside down and run a plank across

I HAD THE SAME IDEA. I am working with the oversized tarps right now, But have spent hours (getting drunk and open minded) trying to come up with what the "guidelines" would be. I thought maybe the fishing poles look kinda like rope. But there would be a TON of them since they are short. Are there lengths of rope available somewhere?

I like the idea of the inverted argonian rack for shorter spanses. Perhaps using the barnacled pillar as support. that would at a minimum vary the scenery for vistors :-)

Flip upside down with a plank down the center and thatd make an awesome bridge!

I know these aren't even close to being rope bridges, but this is what we came up by using Orcish platforms

orcish paltforms make a fantastic floor for platforms, bridges. you can also use orcish bar, long block for something a littler narrower.

The orc well bucket comes with a very very long rope that can be used (put 2 end to end and clip the bucket into the other surfaces.

Yes these work great to make a bridge, I placed two to show how you can walk over it. It's called Argonian Lattice, Rough.

I like the idea of the Argonian curtain because it is droopy like the oversized tarp! Still experimenting. I love the suggestion of the Orcish Bucket, Cistern also for the long rope, but it would only work for straight sections
