Break free broken?

I feel like break free works maybe 50% of the time other times I’ll be with 7k stam and still not able to break free of something no matter what. Anyone else notice anything?

    If on pc, remap break free to a button not using block. That helps tremendously.

    I'm on Xbox NA and I feel like why bother even try to break free? It definitely seems like it doesn't work most of the time. Even with champion points in the right place (for some reason drawing a blank on which deals with break free) my guy just sits there most of the time, even with a bunch of stamina. It's really frustrating.

    It’s been sketchy on PS4 for a while, but seems even worse since Summerset.

    Yes break free is currently buggy on console.

    I've been in this situation and also watched others who have full stamina bars, have to hit the break free buttons multiple times.

    Yeah broken af! I’m tired of being put on my ass spamming break free and nothing happens. I’m just there getting beat -_-

    Xbox EU and yep its been like it for years. You stare at your stamina bar, bash the buttons and yet.... Nadda happens.

    It's worse with some skills over others.

    Yeah happends to me from time to time but the most annoying part is the delay after every break free, sometimes it works like a charm but usually since clicking break free to being able do something takes more than 1s. I remember time when you could break free before you touched the ground after being knocked back... :(
    I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

    Yeah, lately it feels like only goes off 2/3rds of the time. Had some issues with my defensive spells and stuff too.
    They're not panties, so it's not embarrassing.

    Problem on consoles is, when you try to break free and it doesn't work, you can still lose stamina because of blocking.
    When you successfully block you lose stamina every 0,25sec.

    So it can be, that you break free or dodge a little bit later and so you lose stamina twice, because of blocking before.

    But i'm sure ZOS had thought of that! ;)

    Exactly mate ^ everything costs stamina. Block, break free, roll doge, running, sneaking and skills. Especially when you’re in a Bg scenario. Your resources are destroyed as it is. Without the added pressure of not being able to break free.

    Whilst I’m on a rant lol who’s idea was it to make the same button as jump and roll dodge! ( console ) drives me bonkers
