Currently it seems if too many players use this ability it makes ppl near freeze and be helpless to the slaughter. Even though it can backfire and freeze your own i still think it is too powerful and needs to be tuned down.
Like if they refuse to nerf it then maybe add little ESO hints to the freeze screen or something. They could even advertise whats new to the crown store!
They seriously need to back off on CC altogether. I suppose I mean quit adding more of it, ZoS! For crying out loud we have CC bloat in the worst way. It's profoundly tedious to have to deal with this pile of crap from not only players but NPC's as well. We do....not....need....more...crowd control.
I thought the addition of time stop was one of the better recent changes -- at least for open world.
There were a couple of guilds in Vivec on PC NA that were basically unstoppable ball zergs.
These balls zergs would run around and coordinate ultis to wreck everyone.
It was a very toxic playstyle that is now much less common because of timestop.
There seems to be more people willing to slot timestop than there were people available to run aoe cc and negate...
That said, i agree that AOE CC is a cheez way to kill people and doesn't do much for overall gameplay.
But I don't want to see the toxic ball zergs returning either...

Oh but when I posted this same exact thing people were telling me I was wrong and I needed proof, yet again someone else noticed time stop freezes the game.
