Time will confirm this. How many times do things look good on paper only to find out they suck in the game.

ZoS cannot test in their studio, which is why they have the PTS. However, by the time stuff gets released to the PTS, it's too late to stop the patch release.

Time and time again people bring up issues on the PTS, but ZoS releases the issues anyway.

Sload's Imbalance and the server freezes were both reported on PTS before being released.

It's just easier to use us as guinea pigs, wait another 3 damn months for a fix, then recycle this "it's in the right direction" rhetoric.

IT'S BEEN 4 YEARS. Do we wait another 4?
The Class Rep Program actually works!
    Really? Let's review:
Yes it isnt much and Wrobel still has no idea what hes doing, but they hired people to help them out and are listening to the community.
So if Wrobel doesn't have any idea what he's doing, why is he still in charge?
    Rune Focus:
This ability and its morphs now apply Major Ward, Major Resolve, and all morph effects to you directly for 15 seconds.
Standing within the area of effect now increases the Major Ward and Major Resolve effects by 50%.
    I need healing!
Another one of the Problems was that Incap was too strong, the most popular idea was to bring the old Incap back where it would only Stun if the enemy had higher Health, I knew about this 2 months before those Patch notes released and yes the change indeed happened!
NB nerf. Incap was too strong? Really? I was pretty damn sure the reason this was buffed was because NBs were being crapped on by the OP sorcs, which are still around by the way.
    Death Stroke
Incapacitating Strike (morph): This ability now only stuns your enemy if your current health percentage is lower than the target’s.
Another NB nerf. TWO DAMN STUNS taken out of our arsenal unless we get a paper cut first. I would have been okay with Incap (cause it was pretty awesome), but BOTH stuns? Get the hell out of here.
Merciless Resolve (morph): Removed the snare from this ability.
    ANOTHER DAMN NB NERF?
Rending Slashes (morph): Decreased the duration of the snare to 4 seconds from 9 seconds.
JEEZUS CRIMENY MOTHER OF WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON! ANOTHER NB NERF! Okay, but let's be real - not many classes but NB would DW.
Lethal Arrow (morph): Decreased the duration of the Major Defile debuff applied to 4 seconds from 10 seconds.
Well, there goes the DW/Bow build too! I get some mages do bows, but again, mostly an NB class skill.
Arrow Spray: Decreased the duration of the snare applied from this ability and its morphs to 4 seconds from 6 seconds.
Goodbye, NB. It took you 4 years to get good and now you've been reduced to a pile of dog crap because a few sorcs can't deal with the ability of THE CLASS WHICH USES SKILLS TO KILL AND RETREAT BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO.

In the mean time, sorcs have once again risen to the almighty top of the damn food chain now that their natural predator has just had its teeth removed.
Reverberating Bash (morph): Decreased the duration of the Major Defile debuff to 4 seconds from 10 seconds.
    *sigh*
Cripple: Decreased the duration of the snare and the Major Expedition buff from this ability and its morphs to 4 seconds from 8 seconds.
    ANOTHER DAMNED NB NERF.
Sloads has been confirmed too strong against Nightblades there for it got nerfed aswell:
    Sload’s Semblance:
Removed the first damage over time tick.
The damage over time effect now begins dealing damage 1 second after it has been applied.
Decreased the total damage by approximately 15% due to the removed tick.
Fixed an issue where the damage over time from this item set was removing invisibility.
Fixed an issue where the damage over time could proc itself.
All because the original complaints about its power were ignored during PTS of Summerset.
Stop Crying and realize that this is a small step towards a healthy game.
    The hell it is.

The entire purpose of the PTS was to get feedback of changes before they rolled into production. For the past 3 PTS major patches, issues were reported but were ignored as they were released into the game.

Now, to "combat" this issue, ZoS reaches out to the Top 1% and asks them for their opinions on making the game better.

The result: NERF THE HELL OUT OF THE NB CLASS.

If playing NB turns out like it was when the game was released, I'm done with the game.

What I dont understand is why all of you are crying on the Forums now?
Yes it isnt much and Wrobel still has no idea what hes doing, but they hired people to help them out and are listening to the community.

    How do I know that?
One of the Problems that had been talked about in the meeting was that Templars were too immobile cause of the Rune buffs
    here you go:

    Rune Focus:
This ability and its morphs now apply Major Ward, Major Resolve, and all morph effects to you directly for 15 seconds.
Standing within the area of effect now increases the Major Ward and Major Resolve effects by 50%.

Incapacitating Strike (morph): This ability now only stuns your enemy if your current health percentage is lower than the target’s.

People had been complaining ALOT about defiles and snares and how classes cannot deal with them
    Here you go:
Merciless Resolve (morph): Removed the snare from this ability.
Rending Slashes (morph): Decreased the duration of the snare to 4 seconds from 9 seconds.
Lethal Arrow (morph): Decreased the duration of the Major Defile debuff applied to 4 seconds from 10 seconds.

This, and last patch were both "steps."

They however, are really half assed slap-in-the-face steps. Outnumbered you are still *** with snares and defiles. They don't need a duration change, they need a full on nerf.

Sloads is still too strong vs anyone not an NB. But you are one, so you probably don't care. Your class remains overpowered, and will probably be meta again since sloads doesn't break it now. Incap and rune are still too strong.

The class balance changes were half assed as all hell. I'll sayi it from my main POV. The DK one was basically 1s more snare removal in practice. Its such a weak change that I am sticking with FM for the most part. That was 3 months worth of work, the class rep program too, and out of all DKs problems mentioned, sustain, whip nerfed, stamDK having pretty much nothing, block nerfed, wings being poor defensively etc. 1 change that should have existed in the first place.
