you must be kidding right? Ashen Grip seems OP now compared to this piece of trash.

✭✭I mean, not everything is for dps, right? This is one of like 3 sources of Major Maim, two which are ultimates. Could be pretty good for PVE tanks. I won’t use it, but Trials junkies may find some cool synergy with it.1 -

Not. Really. You'd have to time the cooldown manually and even then, if you -are- going to use minor maim the duration just isn't worth it.
For a tank to stop running bloodspawn you'd need something you can reliably count on. This isn't it, it's too little for too little buck.0 -

✭yeah. I would use it it if I were able to keep it up at least 70% of the time...otherwise its garbage....though I suppose situationally useful against bosses with well telegraphed attacks that hit like a train. Not something you would wear for most fights, but maybe one every once in awhile.0 -

✭✭Also, isn’t maim calculated last, like defile? Which makes this debuff more powerful than the multiplicative stuff from protection. Like you could use this then eat an Anvil Cracker to the face? I’ll have to check the damage calculation thread.0 -

the point is , that it has only 3 seconds uptime with 15 sek CD , if it was 5 seconds and have better bonuses like
1: Physical / Spell Resistances
2: Blablabla tount bla bla major defile
2: Max Health
its gonna be viable then.1 -

If maim is indeed calculated last then it’s more powerful than you’re giving it credit for. Pretty sure it is, too. Why start two ranty threads calling everything garbage and dead before even testing things out on PTS?0 -

This is the correct post.
Set is no good because the cooldown is a) on the same timer as taunt b) too uncontrolled to be useful.
It needs a more conditional proc condition to be useful.0331
